Some of my favorite dishes are the Fish Wrap with Cilantro Lime Sauce, Pan-Fried Fish with Cauliflower Rice, and Shrimp Burger with Avocado and Mango Salsa. If you have a sweet tooth, their delectable desserts such as the tableya cheesecake is a must-try! When they moved to their new home along E. Jacinto Street, the owner converted what was once a house into a restaurant and added boutique rooms which can accommodate 2-4 persons. These rooms are tastefully decorated and are situated at the back area of the restaurant. If you don't mind waking up to the smell of good food, try staying here next time.

The staff are friendly and quick as well and their menu items are really unique! I usually get their Lemon Garlic Shrimp with black garlic rice for 210 pesos and it just fills you up with happiness and flavor! It's great tasting food for healthy alternatives and you rarely find treasures like this! I've also tried their fish salpicao and malunggay pesto pasta with tuyo flakes and like I said... Treasures. It's a bit pricey so you might need to prepare your wallet before coming in but you won't regret your eats! I guess they just need to fix their dessert menu cause it's all local ingredients to make like cheesecakes, tablea and etc. There's really nothing wrong with it but I'm a traditionalist when it comes to desserts so I usually just eat here for one meal then get my dessert elsewhere. Other than that, you're set for a healthy, yummy course!

Also the chairs and couches and walls aren't good anymore either - hence the cheap interior), but stay for the food! It's a great cafe that serves great meals. I love their frappes and shakes, coffees and teas and everything else - except their desserts! I usually order their green tea frappe (which is heaven) or just take the usual Americano when I feel like I need an afternoon kick. Their pastas and rice meals are great. I order their steamed Dory in melted Parmesan and other cheeses and it just melts in your mouth!!!! I also really like their aglio olio pasta Don't stay for desserts. Compared to other froyo cafes this is the best one in town! I personally think their froyos' what's giving them edge over other cafes so it's understandable why they're a little pricey because it's quality cafe. Price range you'd be paying here would be around 100-250 per item. I haven't checked on the more heartier meals that they have but their pastas are so good! I usually get their creamy pesto pasta for 180 and its 225 if you add grilled chicken! It's worth it too because they serve a lot! My favorite drink is their White Chocolate Uji Matcha Frappe!!!! It tastes really good! You take in the whole matcha flavor in your mouth but get a sharp white chocolate flavor in the middle. Also for their froyos you can choose different toppings from fudge brownies, to fruits to sauces (caramel sauce, dark chocolate and honey). Parking is no problem because it's in a huge compound so there will be ample parking spaces. I definitely recommend this cafe to anyone who visits!

**Great Food, But Portions Have Shrunk**…read more My girlfriend and I love Rekado. We first ate here last year and were amazed by their kare-kare and lechon kawali. Fast forward to this year, I brought my girlfriend and my brother to eat again. While the food was still delicious, the portions were significantly smaller--about 50% less. I posted a comparison of the kare-kare and lechon kawali dishes: on the left is April 2023, and on the right is May 2024. You can see that the portions have literally halved or more. Additionally, this time, the kare-kare had only one piece with actual meat, and it was very little. When we visited, there was an event, and we asked the server how long it would take for the food. The estimate was 15-20 minutes, but the food arrived in 25-30 minutes. It would have been fine if our expectations had been set correctly from the start, so we could have ordered appetizers since we were already hungry. Overall, the food is still delicious, but please improve the portion sizes.
