When things don't run smoothly is where you see what a bike shop is all about. The shop's willingness to accommodate the customer is what separates the good from the bad. Steve at City Bike Shop went so far out of his way to assure that my bike buying experience was the best that I don't have room here to mention it all. The success of my family's Iceman weekend rested squarely in Steve's hands and he delivered (literally) on all counts. He even went as far as letting me borrow his personal Thule rack because I had an old one that shouldn't be used for a carbon frame. The owner, Mark, is a nice guy, and has always been able to answer any questions I have had. The prices are a little high, but not obscenely so. I am happy to continue giving business to Mark and supporting another small business over the big chains.
