The Dunelm Mill shop is mostly the same from town to town, as are most chains like this. This store is a large size and is based inside the clock towers shopping precinct. The precinct is in the centre of town and this store is based on the second floor precinct nearest the lift actually stops on this floor and also has access from the carparking ares, which is ideal for those of you whom were going to park in the multi storage. There is also an escalator access to get into the store from the bottom of the precinct which is based next to wilkonsons.
I do like having a nose round this store, as they do some beautiful home furnishings, and some gorgeous material and some furniture also, although I would say they are defiantly more pricey than other home furnishing stores in the area.
There are a variety of staff, and although some of the younger Saturday and part time girls can be slightly annoying and unhelpful, the older women that have been there for years are really loverly and really helpful, I went there recently to price up for some voile, and the women whom helped me was fantastic, showing me different shades, different patterns etc, and then cut it all out for me very efficiently and even gave me tips on how to make my own pelmet.
Overall I would say this store, is a loverly stire to browse and get inspiration, but although I do buy from here now and again, I tend to shop around, as I do think some of there items can be terribly overpriced.
They do sell some beautiful rugs and towels also, and they tend to be a good price, well in our area anyway, I recently brough a gorgeous cream faux fur rug, and its gorgeous and such good quality and only cost 55 gbp. read more
