Constant comments from this woman as we walked and tried out various things was very annoying and quite rude. My mother chose the bed she wanted and asked the lady where to pay. Out of the blue, she was then asked by the assistant if she slept alone. This question to a recently widowed woman was most inappropriate and quite upsetting. We then waited at the are marked "Reception" to place an order to be completely ignored alongside two other parties by an overweight, obnoxious and as it turned out pompous prat. When we asked if someone could help he told us that he did not deal with "public" customers and to find another member of staff. I asked him why it was marked Reception and he said "It needs changing and he only had one pair of hands" We walked out and went to Bensons for Beds who were not only cheaper, much more professional and helpful but they had modern levels of customer service and seemed like they wanted our business. Gloucester AHF is frankly a disgrace and we will not be going here ever again.

It is a bit pricy, but sometimes it's worth paying more for quality cotton sheets are always better in my eyes. They do tend to have special offers on though so keep your eyes open for bargains and they also sell seconds. Upstairs they sell material on rolls so if recovering furniture or making your own curtains is your thing then you'll be quite happy. Ample parking clean toilets and a nice little coffee shop. Good all rounder

The poor service culminated in our…read morehouse being left in a mess, an 7x3m carpet in our garden that we cannot lift, and £1500 out of pocket. It's a shame, because I have rung them twice to give them the opportunity to rectify the issues but they are not interested. It appears they will take your money quite happily and then not care about any after care. The process started with no communication from the shop about how we purchase are carpet the the process of it being fitted. We were told when to pay, and were informed the day before they do not accept card, but after stating we could transfer the money, the magically found a card machine (probably so you can cancel the payment for their terrible service). The carpet fitters arrived at 8:30am (which was fine, but it would have been nice to have known they were coming so early). They immediately stated that they couldn't start until the old carpet had been removed by me (again, not an issue, but would have been nice to know). They then didn't help move the furniture (as stated by the salesman they would). After fitting, they informed us that they wouldn't take the old carpet, and left all the offcuts lying around, and the house in a mess. At no point were we informed that the old carpet of offcuts would be left, and would have happily paid for this service. Additionally, the only "solution" they will off is for us to drop the old carpet at the shop, which does not solve our issue. A really terrible experience, and We are very disappointed at the complete lack of after sale care. What's worse, is the man on the phone would not stop interrupting me.

I was accompanying some friends and the choice is superb, with some amazing deals on too! Theres reduced sections and its all fairly reasonably priced. Plenty of staff to talk to who seemed very helpful and friendly.
