The entire process took almost a year, which wasn't his fault. That is just how this sort of stuff goes. My issue was his billing. You sign papers acknowledging his fees and it happens to say those fees are only valid for so many months. After that, he raises his fees and doesn't even tell you until you are stuck with the bill. So, the bottom line is I don't like when there are shady business practices involved. You need to let people know when you jack up your rates.

We cannot recommend Jakub Szlaga highly enough. Before…read morefinding him, we consulted with four other immigration attorneys. None of them felt like the right fit for us, and one even refused to take our case due to the complexity of it. Finding Jakub completely changed everything. From the very beginning, he was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and strategic. He is meticulous in every aspect of the process and leaves nothing to chance. What impressed us the most was that he personally handled every part of our case. He doesn't pass you off to a secretary or assistant, you work directly with Jakub every step of the way. That level of personal attention made us feel confident throughout the process. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he won our case, and we received our green card(as I write this review we are planning to go out and celebrate). We will always be grateful for everything he did for my husband and I. If you need an immigration attorney who is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in the success of your case, Jakub is the attorney you want working with you. We cannot thank him enough and wholeheartedly recommend him.
