I could ramble about the work itself: a couple of small-business operating agreements, done well at an exceedingly reasonable rate, with plenty of great advice in the mix. That was great, but it's not really why I'm writing this. Why I'm actually writing this: Sam is a really, really good person, and working with him feels more like getting warm advice from a favorite cousin than a lawyer-client transaction. I've worked with quite a few (often excellent) Denver lawyers over the years for various reasons, but Sam is different -- I trusted him immediately, and felt like he really cares about my tiny little LLC. My business is relatively simple, but I find myself actively looking for excuses to contact Sam. Do we need a new operating agreement yet? Can we...
