Kelso was amazing, I cannot recommend him highly enough…read more Five years ago my divorce experience (with a different lawyer) was horrific. When I realized I had to file for a custody change, I needed to find someone new. Kelso (and his PL Tara) were wonderful. Calm, reassuring, competent, and confident and always in my corner. It I was exactly the right energy and experience for me. His knowledge of the system and how it works got me through the process and things turned out even better than I had hoped for. His relaxed confidence helped me endure the process with much less stress and anxiety.

He waited until he got my money ($14,000 cash in total) and then let me know he was going to drop me as his client right after a court hearing with no warning. His reason? Since I had recently quit a toxic job, he was concerned that I would no longer be able to pay him. The nerve for him to say this after me giving him my life savings to help me get my child back. He told me he would have to file a motion to withdraw as my attorney, and that I had to sign it and agree, otherwise he would "take me on in court and I wouldn't stand a chance against him." I later realized I had the right to not let him withdraw as my attorney at that point, as we were headed for a trial in just a few months, but he lied to me and basically told me I had no choice. Not only this, but he failed in every way possible as my attorney. He did absolutely nothing to help my case. At one point, I kid you not, he referred to himself as a "Ferrari driving you to Vegas that needs to be filled with premium gasoline"....when I asked him why his going rate was $450 an hour when all he did during the time I was with him is play on his tablet, brag about himself, and use AI to write his paperwork in court. He is a complete narcissist and also formerly a judge from California. He decided to become a lawyer just for the money, and it shows. He doesn't care about people, or families, or integrity. Don't be his next victim! Avoid this man like the plague. Camille is cool tho.

We chose Safa to help my son through a legal issue because he had such good reviews. Our experience…read morewith Safa was very positive. He was kind, informative, easy to contact and we were through the process quickly. I would give Safa 5 stars. Also the front desk person in his office was always very kind, helpful, and present. The location of the office in convenient and quaint Here's the problem- the billing employee and payment systems for office- Paying the bill was a different situation. We made cash payments for 4 months before I came into pay the balance off and let my son pay me back instead of dragging out the bill with Safa. I felt that Safa did a good job and he should be paid. The way it is set up for payments, cash is the easiest way to pay. With every payment instead of a printed receipt from the law office you get a copy from a carbon copy payment book like you would see in the past. When I came in to pay the balance off on January 5th they gave me the final balance they had on their records. Three payments had not been entered into the balance. That's months of payments. Then the woman helping me could not find the receipts in her carbon book from said payments. Luckily I had all my carbon receipts and the woman at the desk remembered me. When we got the final payment down to the correct amount, more than 400$ less, I paid and asked for an official receipt saying the balance was paid with the office letterhead, something more official than a generic carbon receipt. I already had knowledge they were unorganized or worse, hopefully just disorganized but I would encourage Safa to follow up and see if there is a pattern of unentered cash payments and receipts missing on the office end. I hope this message gets to Safa so he can protect himself if that is the case. It was 8 days ago I paid off this debt. I was unable to receive an official receipt showing the bill was paid off because someone wasn't there who could do that at the time, so I gave my email to receive a receipt for the monies paid and asked my son not be contacted until I could speak with him about paying said debt. I was told that would be fine. Instead, he was immediately contacted by email telling him I paid the debt and asking if they could send me an invoice. That's fine if that was necessary legally. He immediately replied giving consent to sending an invoice to me, and forwarded me the email. That was 7 days ago. No invoice still. I called and left a message about this yesterday giving them one more chance to fix it before I went to public forum, and they still have not replied. Safa, your hard work is tarnished by your billing employee or billing practices they are asked to follow. Whichever it is, it is unprofessional for a law office or any office that deals with debt. I'm really sad to leave this review with less than 5 stars, but with no response from the office I believe people should be warned to watch your payments and keep your receipts. I know you should do that anyway but I'm thinking with a criminal lawyer maybe his customers aren't in the most organized headspace. Thank you Safa for your help and hopefully you can fix this issue so people can feel confident with payment as well as service.

As one that rarely gets entangled with the law, finding myself in a "post Friendsgiving-accident…read moreturned pending-DUi-scenario" left me iNSTANTLY intimidated, scared, perplexed, and in-shock, with mounting dread and no one to turn to. Jonathan Schwab was my first call and, iMMEDiATELY, I was able to get into his office to assess the situation and discuss the matters, possibilities and options of my new reality at hand. Luckily for me, my budget and Jon's expertise were able to join forces to become OUR scenario. Jon and his office's calm and competent capabilities were able to lead my inexperienced self through the entire legal process - while also providing much needed gravity and an undeniable sense of support along the way. Suggestions and strategies were ALWAYS paired with perspective and insight. No phone call, email, question or text ever went unanswered. And when it comes to communication, cooperation and having that firm understanding that we are all on the same team with the same mission and the same plan, Jon and his team were beyond remarkable!!! We were able to strive toward a conclusion which I found to be beyond fair and left me 110% satisfied, and in a window of time that was super-timely, yet still allowed for some helpful common sense strategies to be applied to my case. I whole-heartedly recommend Jonathan Schwab and his team! Jon is also a Husband, Father and family man.
