Ok, others loved this site. Fair enough. This just wasn't for me. I'm sure that on paper the idea of having a playground in the middle of the field was good. Parents able to keep an eye on their kids easily, and, we did. However, despite having 5 kids if our own the noise (happy playing children) was non stop from about 7am till 9pm when the camp commandant rolled in to enforce curfew.
The small toilet/shower block was very sub standard. Flooded all of the time. With only a couple of hooks in each shower cubicle made the job near impossible without soggy clothing etc. The block also had quite a pungent smell of poo by the end of our stay. I feel sorry for the poor soul who was pitched next to it.
Again, it might just be me but I definitely wouldn't call it a Holiday Park. It's a camp site. Pitches, toilets and a shop if you're quick enough. Sadly I blinked and missed it.
Certainly not the worst place or the best. Average! read more
