He explained all of the different packages and helped me select what was best for our needs; he didn't try to upsell anything, he just listened to what we wanted and helped me pick the best option for us. Several weeks before the wedding, my dad passed away unexpectedly. Matt and his team did an amazing job making some pivots in our original plan and capturing the true joy of our day. In our final meeting the week before the wedding, he really listened to what we wanted, how I was feeling, and what I wanted included and excluded from the video. He captured several beautiful tributes to my dad without making a single part of any of the videos anything other than joyful. I am thrilled with all of them (sneak peak, ceremony, reception, getting ready, and bloopers) and am so in awe of how authentically he captured the day. Being on the high school newspaper staff and playing Varsity Tennis at Sycamore High School, I came into contact with McDaniel's Photography many times. Jeremy McDaniel personally shoots thousands of photos for Sycamore's sports and other school events each year, available for use by Sycamore's newspaper and yearbook staffs, but also online for purchase. Having the photos online for purchase is really neat, because whether you play for the football team or perform in the choir concerts, a ton of photos are taken and they are much better and closer than anything your parents can shoot (besides, you can't bring a digital camera into a choir or theater performance anyway) McDaniel's Photography also shoots the team portraits for Sycamore each season, and the entire staff is nice and does a good job. While Jeremy McDaniel does a lot of work with Sycamore, he still is a regular photographer. He does a lot of weddings and family portraits, as well as some senior portraits (although Ron Carroll and Elite Photography get most of the area business for senior pictures), and even portraits for businesses. He also is the official photographer for the Marvin Lewis Community Fund and the Anthony Munoz Foundation, and most recently he shot nearly 1,300 photos at the three-day T.J. Houshmandzadeh Football Camp. Although McDaniel's Photography is newer to the game and not quite as well known as some of the other photographers in town, they are really a great business to deal with for photography. Whether it's posed portraits or candid photographs from sports games/matches and other special events, they do great work and are easy to work with too.

Ben even traveled to Chicago, where we live, to shoot our engagement photos which was so special to us. Ben was so helpful during the planning process and gave us great vendor recommendations. He helped us plan the day of timeline and answered my many logistical questions. He is very experienced in the industry and provided valuable advise throughout the planning process. The weather was not looking promising a few days before the wedding and Ben calmed my nerves and came up with a rain plan. He was so cool and collected on the day of which helped me with the wedding day jitters! He was very respectful of the church's photography rules and helped the day go smoothly. Ben's second shooter was also so sweet! Besides being amazing to work with, my husband and I are so happy with how our photos came out. Ben even delivered our images a couple weeks early!
