Specialties
Duchy Chiropractic is located at The Therapy Room Bodmin. I am committed to providing a professional Chiropractic service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to patients of all ages. Many people suffer from backaches, headaches or muscular pains often relating to stress and work pressures. Unlike painkilling drugs, chiropractic treats the cause rather than just the symptoms of these complaints.
I support treatment by providing individually tailored advice about lifestyle, work, and an exercise regime in order to prevent recurrence of symptoms. In this way, I enable patients to stay well rather than just get well!
I offer limited early morning and evening appointments as well as one Saturday a month. Please phone The Therapy Room on 01208 76009 for enquiries and to book an appointment.
Chiropractic is a primary health-care profession that specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of musculo-skeletal conditions. Chiropractic treatment mainly involves specific spinal manipulation to free joints in the spine or other areas of the body that are not moving properly. This allows the body to move freely, enabling the body to heal itself. Apart from manipulation, I will use a variety of techniques, which may include ultrasound, interferential therapy (like TENS but a bit stronger, for pain relief and muscle relaxation) acupuncture, home rehabilitation exercises and massage, as well as advice about posture and lifestyle.

Meet the Business Owner: Elizabeth S.
After graduating in 2008, I moved to Bodmin to get some experience working in a busy clinic setting whilst staying relatively close to my family in Devon.
I am married with two lovely children, Charlie and Connie. We love to spend time outdoors exploring the beautiful coast and countryside and having lots of fun!
I have a real passion for sport, I am a keen Gig rower and have been for many years. I have also been involved in many sports teams, so I know how difficult it is when injury prevents sports participation. Rehabilitation to prevent an injury recurring is just as important as fixing the initial injury. Therefore, I ensure that all patients receive some rehabilitation exercises to help prevent their problems recurring where possible.
I believe that Chiropractic care should be available to everyone when they need it. “I listen to my own advice, getting adjusted regularly, eating well and exercising as often as possible”
