Only if there was a 0 rating on this. I had a very disappointing experience with this bus. One evening on 12/03/25 at exactly 6:05pm, their machine failed to scan my valid weekly ticket, forcing me to pay extra for my journey. However, the same ticket worked perfectly fine for all other trips that week including earlier that day at 6:35am.
When I contacted their customer service for a refund, they took an unreasonably long time to respond to my email (They responded on 25/03/25 at 9:55am). Worse still, they avoided my calls entirely for some reason when I tried to explain the issue--until I called from a private number, at which point they finally answered talked to a staff referred to himself as Josh but refused a refund stating that the Leap-card number on their website is different from what I use.
I have been using same Leap-card since 12/08/24 to purchase their weekly tickets (Every week) as I work in Limerick and use these buses every single day to and from Limerick for work, but no issue ever happened (Except on this day at 6:05pm). This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable from a public transport provider.
If a company is happy to take extra money due to their own system failures, then refuses to engage properly with customers, it speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism.
