We booked the Ambient Personal Chef for a family vacation in Sandbridge, Va at a vacation house. We…read morehad ~13 adult total including 2 children, a newborn baby, and adults from 30-75. My husband and I were delighted with the planning process. We received multiple menu options that managed to balance picky eaters, food allergies, pregnant, and breastfeeding members of our party! In addition to a 7 day breakfast & dinner menu, we also put together a grocery list for snacks & lunch foods. The meals were over the top delicious. This is coming from 2 New Yorkers who are accustomed to fine dining and spend a lot of their time in the best restaurants around. Every meal was professional, cooked to perfection, and appealed to all. The desserts were fabulous and I'm not even much of a sweets eater. For the 4th of July we had a TON of food - we ate it for days and savored every bite. Despite the fact that the chefs were around us during our family vacation, their presence was never intrusive. We enjoyed the pool, playing games, watching TV, and chatting. They respected our time and space. We are planning the same vacation and considered a new location, but are returning to Virginia for Ambient Personal Chef. You will not be disappointed.

He tailored the menu perfectly to our tastes, and everything--from the appetizers to the dessert--was simply delicious. What made the experience even better was how wonderful he was with our two young sons. While we enjoyed our gourmet meal, Chef Ramsey made them mac and cheese, chicken fingers, and a mixed fresh fruit plate. The boys absolutely loved their meals, and Chef Ramsey handled their curiosity and questions like a pro. He wasn't the least bit bothered by their excitement and happily engaged with them while he cooked. It made the evening so much more relaxing for us as parents. On top of his culinary skills, Chef Ramsey's personality was warm, professional, and friendly. He left the kitchen in pristine condition--better than it was when he arrived. It was truly an extraordinary experience that brought the joy of dining at a fine restaurant into the comfort of our home. We're so glad we opted for this experience to celebrate our anniversary. It's something we'll always remember, and we can't recommend Chef Ramsey enough!

I've been wanting to try this food truck for a while and finally got the chance when they set up at…read moremy local farmer's market. After scanning the menu, I was in between getting the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Moon Burger, both sounded good. I went ahead and got the Chicken sandwich which had fried chicken, burrata, hot honey, lettuce and pickles on a potato bun and came with fries. This sandwich was a beastly treat. Thick, juicy, flavorful and super satisfying. My only complaint would be how soggy the bottom bread gets and falls apart but that can hardly be helped with such a top-heavy combination. The fries were incredible and were reminiscent of McDonalds fries in the best way possible. The Moon sauce that came on the side was a pleasant accompaniment with a buttermilk ranch profile with a bit tangy flavor. I loved this meal so much I was looking forward to the next time I could try the burger which I did at an event at the MOCA. The moon burger came juicy and smashed with pepperjack, caramelized onions, lettuce, pickle and that moon sauce on a Martins potato bun. This was easily one of the BEST burgers I have had in a while it was hot, incredibly juicy, loaded with toppings and super satisfying. Inherently I am not a pickle person, but I loved the pickles on this because they were sweet and spicy and provided a good balance of flavor. Again, the bottom bun got soggy but that's expected at this point. I opted for the moon sauce on the side to dip my fries in which were nice and crispy. I will say BB's sandwich was burnt on one side so he couldn't enjoy his as much but mine was easily a 9/10. I recommend giving this truck a try for sure they have a knack for ingredients and quality overall.
