We were in Skechers at the Columbia Mall location and noticed how busy it was due to it being "tax free week". We were greeted and taken care of by Naikyrah! She was an absolute sweet heart and such a hard worker. We also noticed she was the only one helping other customers. I was comparing three different shoes and in the midst of all that chaos. Naikyrah was kind, patient, and met all our needs. Not only did we appreciate her help finding the right shoe for us to try, she went above and beyond in regards to customer service. My husband and I were so pleased we ended up buying two pairs! NOw Naikyrah was very transparent and let us know one of the pairs of shoes was a return and last item on the shelf kind of deal. I was fine with and when I mentioned that to the manager, Samantha, she was gracious enough to give us an additional discount on top of the promotions that were already going on in the store. Then, on top of that... yes there's more... She asked if I was signed up for their rewards program and made sure I can maximize on all the discounts by applying the rewards that was available for signing up. Samantha went above and beyond to make feel us warm and welcomed as well because even though they were busy, she took her time with us and was 100% engaged! We not only did we get what we were looking for, we were taken care of and never left wondering how long we would have to wait to be taken care of, but both ladies made this experience so wholesome and we feel truly blessed to have met them yesterday!!! This store did a scan on my feet and I could see where the difference was from one foot to the other causing the misalignment. My salesperson, Tony, was amazing with helping me. He walked me through how their product would help shape my feet with the arches they originally had by strengthening my muscles in those areas. I walked out the store wearing everything and I physically felt less pain than when I went in. I'm grateful for that and even more so the process of getting my feet back into alignment with the rest of my body.

WORTH IT!…read more So I've lived with autoimmune disorder pain since 2014 and have also had heel pain in both feet since I was 7 (learned about the bone spurs only after a fall in my 40s which led to foot xrays which validated the pain I've walked on for decades is indeed real and valid because it was causing me daily suffering) The Orthopedic Sports Doctor who looked at my Xrays and immediately said you've got huge hone spurs and your autoimmune flare is sharpening that pain, of course you're in terrible pain after a middle aged tumble that knocked both my shoes off. Anyway they recommended visiting the Good Feet Store in Columbia where I met a new lifelong friend named Kenny. Kenny listened to me and offered empathy and unlimited good humor while we performed my evaluation. Thank yoy Kenny, you offered me compassion when I was in great pain, kindness is a rarity and you offered it to me. Thank you sir, you are awesome! It took about two hours total but I walked out of that store in far less pain than I'd walked in with. Imagine walking on bone spurs for decades thinking the pain was normal, especially since my parents dismissed it as "growing pains" while I was growing up, so I got really good at enduring pain. Then my adult body developed autoimmune disorder (Body Keeps the Score) and more pain followed. Until I got the arch supports my poor feet needed. I, a grown ass man, wept tears of joy walking around with my feet and body finally in better alignment. All my pains eased to dull ache from a lifetime of hobbling myself to endure another day of pain (my idea of "paying the iron price" for life). All that pain, eased by arch supports... After a decade spent with doctors treating and medicating other parts of my body. To ease my chest pain I needed to care for my feet, isn't that silly? Holistic healing? That's life, cruelly simple and yet we cage ourselves with our perception of "how much pain is normal to survive" from childhood. So anyway, now I'm walking around in little to no pain and am in great spirits regardless of having to relearn how to walk (correctly aligned this time) I hope arch supports become a human right some day. Our foot pain dictates so much, I'm embarrassed it took me so long to find this relief. And I had to wipe out my HSA and max a credit card to afford it. Totally worth it, as the children would say "all gas no cap". If nothing else, go for the consultation and use the foot massager they have, it oscillates instead of vibrates, and relieved pain I didn't even know I was feeling. Cost more than my first car but the Good Feet store purchase was one of the best purchases I've ever made for myself. And Kenny and his team in Columbia were all wonderful folks (not robot salesman). Some other reviews have noted that it can take a while to be seen-- this is true, so I try to plan my trip at a less busy hour if possible. I do think they should look into an appointment scheduling system to help combat this (hence why I took away one star from my review). Again, all of my interactions with the staff have been great. Some will try and upsell you more than others. I did go ahead and accept the VIP 19.99/yr membership, as I go through more than one pair of shoes in a year so I do find the benefits to be worth it for me personally. Beware though-- that is only the introductory rate. The next year the membership rate is double the cost.

I was denied a VIP discount for a shirt on my second visit... because I was returning the first purchase (even though I replaced it with the second order).
