I talked to Kevin, the owner, and he was honest, straightforward and professional. He asked that I send him pictures of the damage so that he could prepare an estimate. I texted him the photos and gave him the name of my insurance adjuster. Kevin took care of the rest and told me they could arrive by 745pm. By 715 Kevin and his son Jake were in my driveway. I had moved most things from the basement, but they assisted with the rest. Both Kevin and Jake were professional and completely transparent on all work being done. They spent 3.5 hours removing carpet, all carpet glue from the concrete, sanitizing the floor, and then ensuring all fans and dehumidifiers were running and waited 20 minutes just making sure the breakers did not trip. Bonus...they completely cleaned the stairs going down to the basement and the landing, unexpected and completely appreciated. I see one star reviews here...and that is why I felt it was important that I leave my experience. This company was one of the best I have seen. I have done disaster remediation work myself...and they were meticulous and thorough in their work. They were pleasant, honest and transparent on pricing. I would absolutely call Jake and Kevin again...I just hope I never have to.

hired this company in April 2023 for a job to be completed in 30 days. took a large deposit and…read moreshowed up end of June to do job and then again in July and never came back. reached out numerous times and never fully got an answer on completion or even showing back up. told me that he was busy and didn't only work for just me. i totally understand that he could have other jobs but never once an explanation or an answer. then i had to hire someone else to do the job and the wood that Troy Clark ordered for my job was all the wrong size wood and the posts he did put in were obviously used cause they were starting to rot. i have asked him numerous times to come to an agreement to get my deposit back and of course he will not answer that. told me to have my lawyer call him. the wood that was here i had to pay to have picked up and purchase the correct stuff. not only did he ruin my summer months of leaving my home open to all the elements he also left my backyard unsafe for many months with the huge beam up in the air. i do not recommend this company on so many reasons.

Upon initial estimates he seemed to have his business together and claimed to be licensed and insured (I found out later through the city that he is not), I also noticed that his business address listed here at 3 Fairbanks Ave is fake. During the course of the first few days of the project I started noticing numerous red flags including the poor quality of his work which was not just terrible but flat out concerning. Adrian only worked 1-3 hours every couple of days. He did not repair anything to code. He also left a huge mess that had to be ripped back out and re-worked by a new contractor that I had to hire. I tried to be reasonable and allow him to keep some of the money for some of the work he did but he had no intention of making it right. I eventually had to fire him and won judgement in small claims court. He is still out there to my knowledge scamming good honest people please learn from my misfortune and do your research on contractors.

Due to a number of wind storms, my daughter's townhouse had three missing shingles. Several people said they'd replace the shingles, but then they never showed up. One guy came by and met with her, assessed the roof and then told her to go pick up a bundle of shingles before he came back to fix them. He said he had to get his ladder, but he never came back and stopped returning her texts. While she was out-of-town, I stayed at her place and found Construction Works on another website. Matt was quick to respond. After so many no-shows, I was not sure the job would actually get done --- this company is in Niagara Falls and my daughter's home is in Hamilton --- but Matt was true to his word and came out the next day. He quickly and cheerfully replaced the missing shingles, and walked around the whole roof to check for any other problems and assured me that it was good. I appreciated that! He even took a photo of the neighbours' missing shingles and offered to e-mail it to me so that I could let them know. My daughter and I were happy that her roof was finally fixed - and without us having to make countless phone calls and texts and waiting for no-show contractors -- it was so easy! What a relief. Matt was personable, efficient, and affordable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to my family and friends.
