First I want to say that the next week I needed more and my daughter was in Knoxville so she stopped to pick up and that experience makes this experience so much better. They took the time to educate me on how I was painting. I am an artist and almost thought it was so unnecessary but figured it was just good customer service and I appreciate that so I listened. But had I not listened, I would have really screwed up my piece. So excellent place for the beginner. I am not sure many places give this level of customer service, but I guarantee the place in Knoxville did not.

Detail and perfection is putting it lightly! Everything they touched turned out amazing! No shortcuts, no just making it work, no hiding a mistake, it was professionalism and great care all the way! They had the utmost respect for our home and made sure everything was what we wanted. From the beginning, they listened to our ideas and turned them into a beautiful reality. The job was a full kitchen remodel, including removal of a wall, laundry room remodel with relocation of water heater, install cabinets and laundry sink, and removal and install of new engineered hardwood flooring throughout the first floor of my home. This was our first experience in this kind of renovation and we are very much perfectionists. But from day one X Kitchen and Bath was professional, responsive, and an excellent value. Paul - the owner and Peter - the site manager, took great pride in their work and it showed, paying great attention to the smallest detail and striving to make sure we were pleased with every aspect of the job. We were not disappointed.

So, naturally when I needed paint for my whole house being built- I took my blueprints and headed to the store. I made sure to let them know that I needed help calculating what I needed. Jim and I spent two hours with the blueprints and I had him check the amounts twice because it sounded like a lot to me. He assured me it was correct. He sold me 5 gallons of primer and 21 gallons of paint for a 1300 square foot home. We ran out of primer halfway through and had to drive an hour back to get more. We have almost 8 whole gallons of paint leftover. We called twice asking if we could return some paint for store credit. He basically told my husband that I was a liar and didn't show him the blueprints and that I told him that I didn't plan to prime the whole space. I am meticulous about my decisions. I explained fully well my plans and trusted that an older gentleman could help me calculate seeing as he'd worked there for a while. We are out about $400 in paint we can now trash and absolutely do not appreciate this man trying to take advantage of a woman just to get more money and sell more paint. So very disappointed that a business would be ran this way.

Although Lori was great to work with, the service that was provided to me by the flooring people was horrible. They laid flooring down over metal pieces and left gaps around the cabinets in the kitchen. They also left gaps around my water heater in the bathroom and didn't secure the flooring under my stackable washer and dryer so it caved the flooring in once they were put back into place. It was awful. And then it took almost three weeks for them to come back out and fix the mistakes. And that wasn't the end of it! I got charged an additional fee for all of that even though they were coming back to fix the poor service that was provided to me in the first place. The only thing I could think of is that they had bad contractors that day or they were having an "off" day when the service was originally provided. Thankfully the fee was taken care of and I got better service the second time around. I'm giving two stars for the frustration I dealt with getting the flooring fixed. Not saying this company is bad to deal with but beware the services that may be provided.
