I was in need of emergent dental care and was suffering from an unexpected tooth trauma and Dr. Gokel and her team listened to me, took note of my concerns, and delivered extraordinary services. They collaborated with my insurance and have been very accommodating in addressing my needs regarding the services and out-of-pocket expenses. I had major surgery through drumright and Dr. Gent refused to follow-up with me after surgery. She also gave me MAX dose of anesthesia though I was breastfeeding. putting my son at risk. she also lied to me about insurance. lack of informed consent. then they offloaded all care to a man I was told was a "specialist" turns out, Rendon Chambers is unlicensed and is not allowed to work with patients or touch them. yet he was my "dentist" for months. their office manager covers up lies and does not care of sexual harassment claims. denies all allegations and refused to discuss complaint sent to her. and amber gent and Travis Burkett signed off on appts they were never present for. and gave me medications they did not document. I believe this place is funneling customers too quickly and theyre not paying attention to the details. they ruined my life. RUNNNNN!!! there is currently an investigation going on by OBOD- it was escalated highest priority after I spoke to the investigator about Rendon. this place is BADD! PLEASE STAY AWAY read more

I believe when anyone is looking for a dental home, they want to go somewhere they are made to feel comfortable, where they trust the doctors and the team, where they are treated like family, where they feel taken care of. If you're lucky enough to have found Drumright Dental Center, you found that place. Something pretty cool about my job is that I have the opportunity to travel around the world to the best dental offices there are. So, not only do I get the chance to meet these teams, I could really choose to go anywhere in the world that I want. Knowing that a team invests in training their team to be the best they can be, I already know they are superior to other offices. But, once I met this team, I knew they were EXTRA special. Their hearts for the special needs community is part of what makes them stand apart in my mind. I have an uncle who has Down Syndrome. He also happens to be my very best friend. When John needed dental treatment, I knew exactly where I wanted him to go. I also knew that they would recommend what John truly needed and not just what insurance typically covers. Being in the dental field myself, I know dental insurance hasn't changed in 50+ years and is NOT up to date with what people truly need! I wanted what was BEST for John. Drumright Dental Center made it so easy to coordinate everything! So, John and I flew from Atlanta to Tulsa. From the moment John walked in everyone greeted him by name. Walking down the hall he was greeted with "Hi John!", high fives, hugs, and "We are so glad you're here!" I know the actual dental work is the important part, and as a previous Dental Assistant, I can tell you their work is amazing. But, what makes this office different from any other office is how they treat you. I am used to John being excited to meet anyone new. John is the most loving guy you'll ever meet and he loves making new friends. But, I have never been somewhere with John where everyone was just as excited to meet him. He was "attention drunk" by the time we left! John says Dr. Burkett is his best friend and I'm pretty sure every one of the sweet ladies is his girlfriend. Seeing John feel so special and important is worth traveling to Oklahoma and we will continue to do so. I encourage anyone looking for a dental home to experience Drumright Dental Center. I have to say the best experience I've had with the dentist. I've neglected my teeth for about 10 years now and they have gone down the drain I thought it was worse than what it was but they assured me it was only the surface and it can be fixed. About 6 or 7 years ago I went in to get a cleaning at a different dentist and they looked at it and said I need a deep cleaning and they told me it would be around a thousand dollars and I didn't have the money to do that so I asked if I could still just get the cleaning I came in for and she said it would help that it would be like polishing a tur, she didn't finish it but the damage was already done and it pissed me off and I lost little trust in the dentist field. I felt judged when I was already self conscience about it. But that wasn't the case with drumright dental the hygienist Tiana had zero ounce of judgment and she wanted to help me she explained what needs to be done and she even explained the other hygienist that said that to me, I think it made her mad as well but then Dr. Gent came in looked at what needed to be gone and they were talking about it and it went right over my head lol. Then she turned to me explaining in detail to help me understand and answered every question with compassion. I went in the drumright dental nervous anxious and absolutely did not want to do it but it was something that I had to do. They made me feel safe with a big insecurity that I have with my teeth, they totally changed my perspective on dentist. So August 8th I go In and start fixing a problem that I have neglected and I can honestly say I'm excited to start it. They have to do a lot of work and I know it's going to be painful but I know after that's done I'll have a little bit of my smile that I haven't had for so long. I had repeatedly had x-rays done to get a tooth pull. After the first x-ray that they had on file I went into the clinic to get the tooth pulled and made an appointment over the phone to do so keep in mind I already had an x-ray done to know what kind of services I would need I came in my appointment at 4 o'clock, the dentist was ready to go home and so instead of pulling the tpothole he said that I needed another x-ray. They x-rayed the tooth and the x-ray came back fine due to him wanting to go home. He told me I had a bone infection in my gum, line come to find out it was untrue , it was the most unprofessional situation ever. Needless to say I had to go somewhere else I'll do an x-ray and after the x-ray and an appointment will be made. It was very not welcoming and I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience instead of a patient. I had gone to this place many times before, and it has really gone downhill. They even started vacuuming to push me out the door. They do whatever they can to get the most money out of you. Instead of helping you with a healthy smile. read more

We have tried several different dentist in the Tulsa area before hearing about Drumright Dental and my son has never had such a great experience! My bridge broke last night at dinner, which Drumright Dental Center made and inserted. I called Drumright Dental Center to see if I could get in office, but they only had one opening which I already had another appointment. They had no other appointments open for days. I asked what happens when a customer breaks a tooth and it is hurting, they said they may need to call another dentist or just wait. I think Drumright Dental Center has become so big that they don't have customer caring service to loyal customers. I have been a patient of that office since Dr. Bob Melton opened it. Today I will be looking for another dentist. It is a sad day when trying to stay local for business, but they don't need me anymore. If you are looking for a warm welcoming dentist office where you are not just a number, Drumright Dental Center is not your place. read more

This place is great for families. They managed to get our three kids in on the same day even when we made an appointment for just one. They have a great system for working on kids and staff is incredibly friendly. They explain how billing works upfront and worked with us on a treatment plan for each child. read more

Annual check up & cleaning due. Checked w/ my insurance to make sure this dentist was "In Network"; it was; Gave the front desk my insurance card at apt.; Had dozens of x-rays/pics taken; was told of several treatments I would need; the finance guy came in to talk about costs & was told "My Insurance Was OUT of Network." WHAT? So my annual FREE checkup & cleaning (covered by my insurance), was "out of pocket"! $$$$$. Wouldn't it have been great to have known that before my apt or at least when I handed them the card? Got up very upset & offered to pay for the services performed, (no cleaning) & the front desk said, "No charge for today". I thought that meant they were not charging me for the xrays/photos & no cleaning. Nope! Got a bill for a couple of hundred AFTER they charged my insurance for "out of network". Went in to the office to ask about it; was told I would get a charity discount; then pay the balance. So, because they charged my insurance, I have to wait a year for another checkup & never got my teeth cleaned! I get ONE free checkup, x-rays, cleaning per year. My insurance still shows this dentist in-network & the response from Drumright Dental? "I sure wish they would change that." Well I sure wish I had gotten my teeth cleaned this year! read more

The staff is very very nice and attentive. They really care about the patients and easing their minds if they are a little nervous about a trip to the dentist. I just moved here from Kansas where I had a very caring dentist there also. NEW CUSTOMERS READ THIS! DESERVES ZERO STARS This facility is not concerned about the health and wellbeing of its customers. I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment my father received this Monday at Drumright Dental Center. He came with an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. He was not on antibiotics before the tooth extraction. Once the tooth was removed, he asked for a prescription for an antibiotic to make sure no further infection would not occur after the procedure. He was DENIED an antibiotic five times by Dr. Tyson Roulston. There were no labs taken to make sure an infection was not present. What happened to making sure patients were properly taken care of in the healthcare system? If you go to this location know for certain that you will be looked at as just another number and not a human being. read more

The staff couldn't have been more friendly or professional. Made you feel like they were there for YOU. They get stars for that. My first experience with the office was when they replaced a crown another dental office (Sadler in Stillwater) had just installed. I'd had a new bridge that consisted of two crowns and a cantilever. The middle tooth had pins in it and now acted as a fulcrum. I paid a lot of money for a 3-crown permanent bridge, which was a lot of time and money down the toilet. The middle tooth with the pins in it broke loose and had to be reworked. After it failed the second time destroying the middle tooth, I went to Dr. Burkett who cut the two back crowns off and re-crowned the second tooth with a crown made in their new tech machine that makes the crown while you wait. I wasn't happy with that generic crown so they sent the work out to an outside lab. I was very satisfied with the finished result. The problem came when I was fitted for a top denture and the one that came in from the lab should never have been accepted by this office. It was so misaligned and misfit. The back teeth were set in on a slant instead of vertical. I felt like I had a thumb stuck inside between my cheek and molars. The back teeth had to be ground down, both on the outside gum line, where the top of the teeth stuck out sideways, and across the entire bottom surface of the back teeth to level them leaving a smooth surface where you needed to grind food. They were horribly made and should have been sent back to the lab to be rebuilt instead of making me come back again and again, adjustment after adjustment, trying to make them fit my bite. They were good to work with me, but shouldn't have had to. They should have sent the denture back to the lab before even trying to fit it in my mouth. They ended up refunding my money and letting me keep the denture, which I was never able to wear, and referring me to another dental office in Tulsa. However, they were pleasant the whole time. read more

Worst place ever. Not just one bad experience but several. Like my daughter spending the night in the ER from bleeding from a medication she was given at the dentist office and after hour dentist could never be reached as well myself going in for treatment and was sedated and thought all the work was done that was discussed in the consultation only to find out they didnt do what was said and further work was needed done. And then had to have filling fixed because it was so messed up. Save yourself the time. Their publicity is not what it seems. They dont care to make things right once they messed up. You as a patient are made to feel wrong. read more

While I was waiting for one of the staff, I overheard a patient in the waiting room mention she was cold. Within seconds, one of the staff brought out a blue fluffy blanket for her. It is very odd that as a parent, you're not allowed to accompany your child beyond the lobby. The first time we went it was for a cleaning and exam and they let us go but the next time was to have a tooth popped out (a baby tooth) and I was told that my 7-year-old son would have to be seen by himself without myself or my wife present. That is weird. If I would've known that ahead of time I would not have taken off work and driven to Drumright Oklahoma. Just a heads up to everyone: if you're not comfortable with your kid being operated on without you then maybe this is not the place for you. We obviously will not be returning. read more

My experience with Drumright Dental has been unfortunately very disappointing. This year i purchased dental ins. in hopes to fix a lot severely damaged teeth. After researching and exploring options i chose drumright. This has ended up costing me additional in emergency room visits, antibiotics, and continued health issues. I had gone in to get a root canal on a very infected tooth. The root canal was done on the tooth in front of the infected tooth. This left me with the infection still in my mouth which reared up that weekend, whenever i called their emergency line on the i received no return calls for 2 days, so i had to go to the emeregency room. I can only afford 1 root canal at a time so now the infection is only growing until i am able to get the tooth pulled. drumright dental offered me $100 off another root canal. This office is great for basic cleanings and needs i'm sure. I would be hesitant if you have much work to be done. read more

I LOVED this place until today. I have a 14 year old who is scared to death of the dentist. Made him an appt 2 months ago and it went great. I was excited, finally a place he will go. Today he had to go unexpectedly because he woke up in major pain. Took him in and he is crying from pain, time to go back and they won't let me go back w him. He's crying now because he doesn't want me to leave him. I insist on going back, still tell me no. If he wasn't hurting so bad I would have left but had nowhere else to take him. When did we as parents lose the right to our own children? I was also treated poorly by the dentist and front desk. I wasn't the only upset person in there for how I and my child were treated. I know I have told at least3 people about your place. They all have children but you lost me and all of them now. Majorly disappointed. It's MY child. read more
