While looking at it the first time to see if this is where we wanted to have our wedding Carolyn Brown gave us the tour. The whole time she was telling us where we can put decorations and where we can't. We almost didn't go with the venue because of her but when she mentioned they made sure food was replenished during the reception, all chairs would be stacked up, tables would be put away, and they cleaned up all of our decorations and put them in one spot so all we have to do is take them home, we decided it sounded like a great deal. She gave us time on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to prep which also sounded great. She said we could come out whenever we wanted to during that time to set up and come Sunday and pick our stuff up. We had the venue until 12:00 a.m on Saturday. While setting up my mom realized the bathrooms were NOT supplied with toilet paper or towels to dry hands. And the faucet was snapped off in the women's bathroom. Carolyn insisted she would get toilet paper and the faucet was fine. She ended up only getting a single roll for the bathrooms for our 120 guests. On our wedding day our food kept running out and the guest had to keep replenishing ( even though we were told the staff would. They said we couldn't block a certain door because that's where they come to fill the empty food). The trash was overflowing ( which she also said would be taken care of through the night) and they started taking tables away at 8:00 even though we had the venue until 12. They took off all the table cloths and chair covers and thew them on top of my centerpieces and now all of my flowers are snapped in half that I wanted to keep. The chairs also were unreliable. A lot of them were missing hinges and I sat down in one and it folded and I hit my head on the ground. We then had to sit check all the chairs and found many more faulty ones that we had to remove so no elderly guest got hurt like I did. The staff put our cake and dessert on the ground and folded up our dessert table ( we still have the venue for over 3 hours). While Carolyn was taking off the chair covers she was huffing and yelling to the staff to throw our stuff away because she " didn't have time to deal with it". We had to gather our own things which wouldn't have been a big deal if it wasn't what sold us on the place. The chairs outside were not picked up and they were left for us to fold. When we came back the next day for the rest of our things we confronted Carolyn about the service. She said that they did not offer clean up service and never restock food as that is not their policy. There were 3 of us at the venue when we booked it who all heard it. We also had friends who got married here in the past who she told the same thing to only that time they actually did stock their food and clean. She was very rude during and after the wedding. While we were cleaning up the venue she was down stairs eating our cookies and desserts. Do not rent this place without a written agreement from her because she will lie. She also stole some trays from us.

Amazing teacher and we love her so much! Sadly, she left to go pursue an amazing opportunity in Montana (and we wish her all the best). In her place, they quickly hired Kyla, who is the teacher there now. Kyla didn't just throw my kid on a horse - she took the time to sit down with my child and get to know her, her goals, and her skill level. While we were sad to see Laine go and were worried about the transition to a new teacher, it hasn't been a problem! Mark and Kelly have made an amazing program for kids to learn to ride, as well as offering tours, trail rides, and events in their gorgeous new barn. They had an event for The Cottage which was nothing short of magical and really showcased the space to its fullest. I cannot recommend this business enough - absolutely amazing staff and location. We love coming here - it feels like a second home now.

Arron was incredibly helpful setting up our time and helping us navigate bad weather on our first day. We ended up going today, and the weather was gorgeous! I could not have ordered a better day if I tried. The trail was not easy by any means, but we felt quite supported by the staff throughout the journey. The views were incredible! From the top of the ridge, we could see the entire property as well as downtown Tulsa. I would definitely come back here!

We booked the Beaver Lake Cabin for a weekend away for my wife's birthday hoping (as you do) that…read morethe log cabin by the lake we booked would at least be half as good as we expected. From the website, we saw that the cabin had a full Kitchen, a Jetta two-person whirlpool as well as a stand-up Shower. My wife was excited to see that it also advertised a pillow-top King Bed. There was also a Chiminea, with firewood included, a private lakeside Patio with table and chairs, and a private jetty to fish from. All in all, it looked promising, and we hoped it would meet even half of our expectations. Boy were we wrong - it absolutely exceeded them in every single way! Before we even arrived, the hosts reached out to welcome us and let us know how to get into the cabin, and to offer anything extra we wanted - we just needed to ask. We arrived at 7pm, having driven for 4 hours, and then realized that we were an hour past the deadline to let them know we wanted breakfast. I called the hosts number just on the off chance, and they totally made us feel welcome and that it was not a problem that we had asked for them to arrange breakfast for the next day 1 hr. after the deadline. We got out the car and walked around the corner of the cabin to be greeted by the wonder of our private patio literally right on the edge of the lake. After oohing and ahhing at the phenomenal view and standing on our private jetty looking down into the water and spotting the fish, we walked up to the door of the cabin and opened it. Entering the cabin, we were immediately refreshed by the wonderfully cool AC (it was 93 outside). The bed was set against the wall in such a way that when you lie on it with the front door open (totally private still, as the cabin is set well away from the other 2 cabins on site, with the door on the opposite side to them), you can enjoy the remarkable lake view. An absolute treat, but it lets the AC out and the hot air in! On the pillow was a handmade card wishing my wife happy birthday (the hostess was clearly listening to me when I booked the cabin) and wishing us a pleasant stay. Also next to the bed was a welcome basket with snacks, and the ingredients for some Smores, which you can make over the fire in the Chimnea. After this, we headed straight to the bathroom to check out the whirlpool. It was exactly what we had hoped, and over the course of the weekend, we spent a LOT of time relaxing and reading in it, bubbles soothing on the skin, and providing a pleasant background burble of white noise, which enhances the sense of privacy and intimacy. Exploring further, we found a coffee table book about the history of Tulsa, and a folder with all the local attractions listed and recommendations of where to eat - very useful for us out of towners! I'll end this wall of text saying the drive / walks around the lake are beautiful, every single person we met was extremely warm and helpful, breakfast arrived at the time it was promised (although because of Covid, we didn't have the opportunity to dine in the dining hall). We highly recommend Meadow Lake Ranch as a wonderful, private, and romantic place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable cabin with spectacular views in a peaceful, tranquil setting, with thoughtful, warm and welcoming hosts.

Stayed for 4 days with my son in one of the lakeside cabins. It was super hot so we did activities…read morein the morning, then toured the ranch at night. The owner also brought along one of his grandsons so my son had some company too as they fed the animals etc... a very nice gesture there ... While we were there for the first time my son paddled a boat, caught a fish, roasted marshmallows, threw a lasso, used a bow and arrow, slingshot, BB rifle, Henry rifle, 6 shooter, and Atlatl. Pretty much ticked all the boxes for my 13 year old boy for sure, not too mention fun for me too. Highly recommended.
