It is the perfect place to stop right before going to the lake to grab beer, liquor, meat, and other groceries. They always have some deals going on in the front, which is nice. During the holidays they have gift sets as well. It is very spacious and clean so it is easy to find what you are looking for. The employees are always friendly, efficient and provide great service. I got some Tito's (OK - that was an easy one), my new favorite, affordable, no hangover, Tequila, my favorite beer and my new favorite "Surprise Your Guests" Pickle Moonshine. On my second visit I went in to get some wine. I typically drink Kendall Jackson. They had that, and AGAIN, much to my surprise right next to it was Rombauer - my favorite special occasion wine. All the prices were just a little higher than my usual warehouse prices at home - but within line of the Mom & Pop shops everywhere. The owner was super nice and chatted with me, a stranger, and the few regulars that were in there too. The last thing an honest person wants to deal with is somebody accusing them of stealing something…read moreand forcing them to go somewhere further to buy something they could've bought already... So I walk into this store not knowing what I wanted to buy because of course there's a lot of options to choose from. While trying to make a decision I guess according to her I moved a certain way that made me look suspicious. So she confronted me and asked if I just tried to do that. I didn't know what she was talking about at first but after she asked me again I could tell she was thinking I must of attempted to steal something. So I raised my hands up innocent like trying to show her my whole body and that I didn't take anything. I was calmly telling her that I didnt do anything. She ended up still asking me to leave without ever knowing if I actually stole something. Before I left I asked her if she could check the cameras so I could just go back to buying something. She told me she wouldn't check the cameras for that. She gave me no chance to show her I wasnt trying to steal from her! You can be the nicest person alive with the best intentions and a wallet full of cash but I guess still get asked to leave if she's feeling a certain way.
