I used this facility to submit paperwork to upgrade my license, because of this I was thinking the process would be nice and easy.
What should have been 2 visits will be at least 4.
First visit hand in paperwork and get an eye test, wait time 2hrs. Eye test done, but not entered into system (didn't find this out until later). Personnel read the information and repeated back to verify the correct paperwork was being handed back to me, paperwork handed back was not mine but I didn't realize until I got home.
Second visit, I returned the next day, wait time 2hrs, corrected paperwork.
Third visit, stood in line for completed tests (test was done previously by a separate company. Got to counter, was told this didn't apply to me as this line was for tests done today. Get a number. Wait time 1hr, hand in road test, told my eye test was missing (personnel didn't care that it had already been done, it wasn't in the system; tells me it's not the first time this has happened), after eye test told there is a missing approval on my file from the MTO, and there is nothing they can do; but I can fix if I call the MTO. Called MTO, problem solved but the update is not live so I have to wait until tomorrow
Forth visit... we will see.
Personnel... those who I have dealt with are either incompetent or not willing to do anything to help.
Facility... small, crowded & disorganized. You are a drive test centre, no clear instructions are posted as to where to go... you would think since this business is centred around driving you would create and post signs to direct people where to go for the task wish to complete (ie 'drive test complete & passed?' Stand here, 'appointments?' Stand here... 'licence upgrades?' Use this computer... so forth... hang from ceiling), or have someone out on the floor greeting and instructing people where to go and what to do?
Don't even know why this company exists... I am sure the MTO would do a better job.
This facility doesn't deserve 1 star, but that is the minimum and a required action. read more
