Tucked…read moreinside the Independence County Library at 267 E Main St, Rocket Brew is the perfect community hub that lives up to its mission of bringing people together with quality, craftsmanship, and real connection. In a world of rushed coffee runs, this place slows things down -- every handmade beverage is crafted with care and precision, using locally roasted beans that you can even take home. I stopped in recently and ordered the Space Ghost Coffee (a delicious wet cappuccino with cinnamon and white chocolate), and it was out-of-this-world good -- perfectly foamy, richly flavored, and just the right balance of sweet and spiced. The baristas clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in every sip. The cozy atmosphere inside the library makes it an ideal spot to relax with a book (or a stunning Ansel Adams photography volume, as I did!), study, or catch up with friends. It's clear they pour passion into educating customers about the bean-to-cup journey while fueling meaningful interactions. If you're in Batesville, do yourself a favor and blast off to Rocket Brew -- you won't find a better spot for exceptional coffee and genuine community vibes! Highly recommend!

The meals were supposed to be delivered by 11 am, however I discovered the meals had not arrived by 11:10 am, so I called Pizza Express. The one employee working said the pizzas were in the oven, but asked what type of salads I wanted and asked how she was supposed to deliver 15 drinks. That made it very clear to me that the meals would MAYBE be ready by 11:30, so I had someone go pick up the order instead. I was still charged the tip and regular price, which was a bit frustrating. Really wish this would have worked out better, and I'm unsure of the circumstances, but a call with an update of the delayed status would have been nice.
