Caught 4! Michael and Robert gave us a great experience with ages in our group from 8-40+ everyone caught a shark....black tips, hammer heads, fine tooth's! In total our best angler caught 4 with 3 being over 4ft!

We had an amazing 3 hour charter with Captain Ethan! We caught shark, sting ray & a 35lb red fish! My sons, ages 13 & 12 loved it and already want to book again next time we visit HHI. Captain Ethan was so knowledgeable about the area and all of the fish. He kept it fun while we waited for the fish to bite!

Awesome day to be shark fishing

The Ricochet fishing tour is the best in the Hilton Head area. Great crew, great experience, and great memories.

We booked a very last minute shark fishing charter through Drifter Excursions. No one anticipated fishing on this trip as our 3 year old niece was with us. I convinced our group of 8 and called on Sunday afternoon for a Monday charter. Jack and his aunt were extremely accommodating. I didn't even realize they gave us a discount when 2 of our group decided not to come! The "Hobo" is the perfect family boat for a fishing trip. Captain Jack was extremely patient and knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better experience on our family vacation and will absolutely book again on our next visit. Maybe with a bit more notice for the crew! Thank you again to Jack and his family!

We did a 3 hr inshore fishing aboard the hobo. The captain Hunter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We caught 10 shark total including 2 bonnet head and 2 black tip. I highly recommend this company for a fun excursion.

Highly recommend Drifter Excursions! We went out on the Shark fishing trip and had a blast with Captain Adam and Jack! We all caught quite a few sharks and even some hammer heads. We've been on several fishing charters before where the Captain and his mates were more worried about fishing themselves and not worried about their passengers. This was definitely not the case! Adam and Jack threw out a pole, hooked a 5 ft shark and let us reel it in. We had a great trip because of the great Captain and mate! They were both very friendly and personable. Thank you both for a great trip!!

I went on the 3 hour deep sea shark fishing tour and loved it! Any fishing trip you get is the luck of the draw of they are noting or not bit I was the first one to catch a baby shark I ended up catching 3 total plus Spanish Mackerel along with 2 other kinds of fish I can't remember. I met some nice people from all over the country on the tour and the captain and his mate were awesome! They were very helpful and were fishing them selves and were nice enough to let the kids take a chance at reeling in a 80lbs shark with some help of course. I had doubts about this trip but loved every minute of it! I highly recommend it :)

Four hour fishing trip. Spend 3:15 of it trying to get situated. Setting anchor not hard but spent more time doing this than fishing.

We had a wonderful experience and Will definitely book with the "Hobo" again, but only if Captain Jack is at the controls.

For nostalgic reasons, I decided to treat the family to one on our visit to Hilton Head this year. We were fortunate to find a parking space in the parking lot near the Lighthouse at Sea Pines. We walked around a bit until one of the benches in the harbor opened up. The family stayed there while I went to figure out where to get onto the boat. This gave me the opportunity to take some pictures in the harbor. When we boarded the boat, we were guided to a table on the lower deck which was air conditioned. The sun was blazing through the window and we unfortunately did not have a shade that we could pull down like there were at some of the other tables. We made the best of it. Our server was very friendly. He explained that he was working to meet people and to see what he could learn. By the end of the trip, he exchanged information with my son. The meal was surprisingly good. I was skeptical and thought that it might be bland because it was mass produced. Every dish was prepared well and had good flavor. Everyone in my party truly enjoyed their meals. The sights are tremendous. We saw a few dolphins while the boat was underway. The sunset was breathtaking. I definitely recommend this experience.

It was a…read morerelaxing way to see Savannah from a different perspective while learning about the riverfront and the Port of Savannah. The narration was informative, and seeing the massive cargo ships and waterfront activity was a unique experience. The boat was spacious, with both indoor seating and outdoor viewing areas. We ordered the chicken tenders and fries, and they were surprisingly good--definitely above average for food on a sightseeing cruise. We also opted for the 42 oz souvenir drink, which was well worth it if you plan on enjoying a few drinks during the cruise. It lasts the full three-hour experience, and the bartender was fantastic--friendly, personable, and made a great drink. Unfortunately, it rained during part of our cruise, which likely impacted the experience since we couldn't spend as much time outside taking in the views. Of course, the weather isn't something the company can control, and there was plenty of indoor seating to stay comfortable. Overall, this was a fun and worthwhile experience that I'd recommend to first-time visitors, couples, and families. Between the scenic views, interesting narration, better-than-expected food, and excellent bar service, it was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours on the Savannah River. I'd definitely return--hopefully on a sunny day next time.

There was some history mixed in along the way, which was interesting, and the whole experience was relaxing. The food was probably the weakest part for me. It was served buffet style with fried chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, plus fruit. It wasn't bad, but it was all pretty lukewarm and just didn't leave much of an impression. That said, I don't think people are booking this for the food anyway. You're booking it for the views, the boat, and the experience. We had fun, enjoyed the ride, and I'm glad we did it.
