Located in the historic African American neighborhood, King Lincoln District, this studio was built and designed by the owner/barber. You can tell he put a lot of pride, thought, money and effort in to it. There are big comfortable chairs, big screen TVs, snacks and products for sale. Beside the owner there are two other barbers, one of which is also a stylist. It's always a good sign when other barbers come here for a haircut. The owner has creds. Been in business over 25 years, has a long list of long time clients that have followed him from other shops. This would not be a "pop-up". You know, here today, gone tomorrow. Business is good. The studio is closed on Wednesday and Sundays. You can walk-in on the other days, but just know Thursday and Friday are the busiest days and you may find yourself waiting longer than you want. If that is the case, the "man talk" is great. Topics like politics, cooking, sports, TV shows, vacations, etc. Nothing off limits. Its hard not to join in. ( I can't help myself, I always add my 2 cents.) Also, each barber is top notch. You can wait for one you prefer, or try one of the others. You can't go wrong.

Nothing has changed, I just don't want to discourage people from paying a visit. Self starting a business is hard and it takes a lot of commitment from the owner. I think this place has potential, but communication can be better.
