I recently moved to the Cheyenne area, and like any guy will tell you, finding a new barber -- one that's really GOOD -- isn't easy. I'm happy to say, my search is over. Drew's Barbershop is, hands down, the best in town! It's one of those great little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall barber shops like we all grew up with in small town America. Drew's has 3 chairs, 3 barbers, offering everything you'd need in hair styling and hot shaves. The barber shop is simple, nothing glitzy, very clean and very welcoming. I had the honor of getting Drew, himself, and he was friendly, fast and efficient, getting me in and out in 20 minutes with an OUTSTANDING haircut, the best I've had in years! Typically a long wait. People show up before opening and sit in their vehicles. When they open you find out you're number 6! Very good cuts and beard work but that wait can be brutal! I've gone elsewhere and have never had to wait and it's much cheaper without sacrificing quality. read more

Great little barbershop. They really take their time and don't rush to get you out of the chair. Another plus is that they play good rock and roll music ( not too loud) instead of a constant stream of depressing news. Worth every dollar of the $32 price plus tip. Thanks Carlos. read more

This guys is awesome. I finally found someone who really knows how to cut my beard the way I like it. He cuts your hair, beard, and mustache as separate pieces and doesn't chop your mustache ends of with clippers (a first). His name is Drew from Drew's Barber Shop new in Cheyenne (formerly of Powell). He did great with my 5 year old grandson too. He listened to exactly how he wanted his hair cut and he even pulled out his own phone out and put on Despicable Me for him to watch. I can't remember the barber's name, but he's from Louisiana, worked at the station on the west end of the shop (at the location on Pershing). Everyone in there is super friendly, a great atmosphere. I went to the second location on Logan it's much bigger than the Pershing shop. I got a short cut faded really nice and a straight razor shave to a goatee and the woman that cut my hair did an amazing job and put alot of time into the razor shave. I've been giving Drew my patronage since he opened his doors on Pershing. Both for myself and my 3 boys. I even pay his high prices for my beard products even though I could order anything he sells for 2/3 of the price or less. I do this because I'm a staunch advocate of supporting local business. Today I was turned away from his new location because of their limited hours. I then went to the original location on Pershing. I was told to come back in a couple hours. I conceded to their request and returned in two hours' time. To my surprise they arbitrarily decided to close 1 hour and 10 minutes early. I can take higher prices but I won't deal with bad service. Regretfully Drew, I have decided to take my barber needs somewhere else! read more

Great independent barbershop in cozy old storefront. Place has been around 70+ years (has those comfortable old-school barber chairs) and under newer ownership. Barber took her time cutting my hair and I'm happy with results. Worth detour if driving through Cheyenne area - will stop by again next time in area to get straight-razor hot shave. read more

Honestly, it's hard to write an accurate review just strictly on the haircut I received at dicks barbershop. If you want an old style "shooting the shit" barbershop THIS is the place for you. When I think of a barber, Dicks is the first place that comes to my mind. I've only been there one time, and even though I gave a 4 star rating I honestly don't plan on returning. The people there are a 10/10 amazing to talk to and create a great environment. However, I had the actual owner cutting my hair the day I came in, and it was rough to say the least. Dick is from what I'm assuming in his 80s, and has been a barber for either 50 to 60 years from what he said. Unfortunately that being said, I think he may be lacking a tad :(. I'm currently serving in the military and asked for a high 1 fade, and he forgot to completely blend in one of the sides. Which honestly isn't usually a big deal, but I had a promotion board the next day, (if ya know ya know If you don't too bad) and I got called out on my haircut.
