After searching the property, at first light this morning, we found her up a 70 foot oak tree, on a limb 30 feet off the ground, after a night in the 20s, with a chill index in the low teens. She is not used to climbing and was scared to come down. Way too far up for any ladder. We'd need a cherry picker. Neighbors recommended Aaron's Tree Service, down the road. I'd seen his equipment drive by, but never met him. We called him at 8am on a Sunday. He said he'd be right down. He brought his cherry picker, set up and climbed in. He gently coaxed our very shy cat off the limb and into his arms and brought her down. When I asked what we owed him, he said, "this is just what neighbors do for each other"! So, if you need tree service, this is your guy. And no matter the size trees you have. That cherry picker of his? It can go up 65 feet if need be!

He asked for half down for materials for our small stamped concrete project in May of 2021, he kept putting off the project, I would reach out and not hear back for a week or more at a time. Always had more excuses. We are now over two months out from when we gave him money with no work started. We requested our money back and having to threaten legal action he finally responded and told us he would send a check. Well you guessed it, still haven't received that and don't plan to as he will not respond to any texts or calls. I have been in contact with a few others that he has treated the same. One person has waited over a year to have their work done and he keeps blowing them off with no refund. There are news articles and forum posts about this guy scamming people, unfortunately they weren't posted until after we 'hired' him. He has numerous past small claims cases against him in Clinton County, IL. Check the comments in all the reviews on Facebook for a news article. We will be reaching out to our local news station as well, hopefully it will prevent others from getting scammed by Shane.

They were pretty booked for the day that I needed this work done but Britney went above and beyond to make sure that she could squeeze me in on their schedule! The nice gentleman that came out to do the work was also pretty amazing, I believe his name was Corey, very friendly professional and knowledgeable. He assessed to work carefully and when ahead and put in the weatherhead and the electrical pipe that needed connecting and he made sure that he did the work very cleanly and secure, this is always appreciated and after he left he cleaned up and did a nice job overall.
