I knew I wanted to have a destination wedding, and if she could keep all of these people organized, she could surely handle my wedding! We set up an initial meet and greet phone call to go over expectations and discuss needs. From there Cari hit the ground running and came back to us with various options for a destination wedding. We looked at multiple countries and resorts in the Caribbean that worked within our budget. We ended up choosing Secrets Akumal in Riviera Maya, Mexico because it seemed to have the best bang for your buck while offering an easier travel arrangement for our guests. Cari handled all of the communications with the resort for the wedding guests and all of the communications with the wedding coordinators to confirm our date. She handled every stressful aspect of planning without a single complaint, and since I know our guests well, it was shocking! True Rockstar! When we flew to Mexico for the wedding, we were greeted by our driver who had chilled champagne waiting for us in the car. When we got the resort, we had more special gifts waiting for us in the room. I felt like a celebrity all due to Cari's personal touches. We ended up having 97 people attend our wedding, Cari managed everyone's hotel reservation and their airport transfers. I never heard about any issues and every went according to plan. I can't imagine what this experience would've been like if I didn't work with Cari. She made everything seem easy and carefree. I would highly recommend working with her and I plan to utilize her again for any type of group travel.

Never ever will I book with this travel agency again!!! If you are thinking of hiring them please…read morebe careful and ask questions because they DO NOT volunteer the proper information to their clients. I went last spring (2016) and explained to travel agent that I had NEVER gone on a trip out of the country and I was needing help with purchasing a vacation package for my immediate family including my mother- it was actually her birthday gift. The agent-Avelina, sold us 5 tickets and I paid cash, she never informed us that there is TWO types of passports-- a CARD and a BOOK. She made copies of what we had and gave me the print out of the tickets and said "Perfecto todo esta listo" "Perfect everything is ready" 10 months later, we get to airport and they did not let my mother board because she has the wrong passport!!!! I called the agency and their solution was, leave your mother at the airport and go without her!!! my mom is 67 years old, not fluent in English AND with no car or way to get back to her house which is an hour away from the airport. Till this day they have done nothing to get me tickets. on the contrary they want me to pay an ADDITIONAL $3,000.00 dollars for new tickets. I originally paid almost $5000.00 for the tickets, I paid hotel in Paris, hotel in Madrid and rented a car. I also paid parking for 10 days at the airport to leave my car there. Who is going to reimburse me for all the loss???? Not Excelsior, they don't even want to pay for new tickets.....when I called them to inform them of the nightmare I was going thru at the airport she began making me feel like it was my fault that my mother didn't have the proper passport. I explained to her that was the whole purpose of hiring them, so they could tell me what I needed!!! Avelina has insulted me and made me feel completely dumb. No one should ever, ever have to go through such a horrible experience. I was looking forward to this trip, it was suppose to be a once in a lifetime experience and instead it has caused so much headaches and tears.
