The foreman, James, and his team worked quickly and efficiently on the project, achieving more per day than we expected. Despite being a relatively small project, they completed all work in just under 4 days. James and his guys were friendly, polite, and respectful; James was able to answer any questions we had and provide further suggestions for what to plant. Passersby were also impressed by the team and their work. Each day, the team cleaned up the site, put tools away, and ensured that our property would still be presentable overnight. The owner talks a big talk but his crew did very poor work…read more I have some basic knowledge on how to mix concrete. The crew hand mixed the concrete on site for fence posts. The mixture was weak and the wrong ratio of sand to gravel to water was used. Also the hole size was too small for 6X6 posts. The company redid a few posts as they also did not go to the agreed to depth of 4 feet. In my opinion at the end of the day they just gave up and left the job unfinished as they could see I knew their workmanship was not meeting a reasonable minimal standard.

They certainly have some interesting business practices and unfortunately, lack some professionalism. Upon confirming the job with Professional Fencing, they didn't guarantee a date of completion. We were told, "We'll be there sometime this week." When the crew showed up, I just so happened to be home so I know they never bothered to see if anyone was here. Then they left without leaving an invoice, never mind a payment. I thought that was weird. Once we double-checked the work, we realized they built one of the gates at the wrong height. It isn't a huge deal because our garage is too wide to notice, but the gates aren't the same height. At least we didn't pay extra for the error. Shortly after the job was done, say within a day or so, they emailed the invoice, which was then paid over the phone via credit card the same day. To my surprise, just yesterday they sent an email with the subject line written in caps, saying that we have an overdue invoice. Pardon me?! My spouse responded to the email immediately, informing them that our payment was posted on the credit card the same day of payment. He didn't hear back from them for three hours so he called to confirm they received the email. The woman he spoke with said she hadn't checked her inbox and thanked him for the information. She said she'd double check their merchant services. Really? You don't believe that we actually paid for the job? Whoever is running the administrative side of this business certainly needs to step it up. To summarize, I am happy with the work but am a little stunned by how it was handled. 16/30 for Yelp's 30 Day Challenge
