I hired the Dream Team to do an apartment move out cleaning after our daughter graduated from SCAD. Initially they seemed very easy to work with, responded quickly to texts, calls, were polite and courteous. They came out several days before I needed them to assess the apartment and let me know what their fee would be. They came out Sunday afternoon (8/30) to do the job. Unfortunately, I could not check the finished work because I had to return home (out of state) that day and our daughter met and paid them. Our daughter did not carefully check their work. I was upset to receive an email several days later (9/2) from the apartment management company, complete with pictures, stating that the cleaning job was not acceptable. There were photos of hair around the bath tub, dog fur on the floor, fan blades in need of cleaning, and a refrigerator that was not wiped clean, to name a few. The management company was willing to let me call the Dream Team back to resolve the deficiencies. I talked with Melanie from the Dream Team, that evening, who also said they wanted to make good the cleaning. I was relieved. I gave Melanie the contact information for the property manager, Mia Madison properties office address and phone number - and a week to get it done (granted Monday was Labor day) or at least a commitment for when it would be accomplished. On Sept 8, I had to follow up with Melanie to find out what was going on (I had heard nothing). She said that they were not able reach the manager and left messages. The manager said he returned their calls but the mailbox was full. I was told that the apartment had to be cleaned by the end of this week (9/11) and Melanie said they couldn't get to it until next Tuesday (9/15) at the earliest. I have a substantial security deposit at risk so I have had to hire another company who will clean the apartment this Friday. I feel like the Dream Team had ample time to make this happen, particularly when they said they wanted the opportunity to complete the job satisfactorily and their reputation was at stake. I am disappointed it ended this way. read more
