In fact, about 18 months after beginning, I was able to teach a music clinic in Italy to Italians, mainly in Italian. I have no aptitude for language, and I owe this completely to the school. All I did was simply follow the homework assignments, and practiced a few minutes a day every day. Currently Sylvia is my teacher I had and she is great! The front office is also excellent. They are very accommodating, kind and thoughtful. When I was injured they called me specifically to see how I was doing. The owner is a very nice woman also. They all add a nice personal touch. Classes are affordable and you can take makeups for classes you miss, so the value is excellent. It has been a dream of mine to learn Italian. I highly recommend this school if you live in Los Angeles!

Some are quite mean and some are sort of like grifters, they just want you to come back to class and move at a snail's pace so you'll be there forever. The staff is completely inflexible. If you want to postpone for the next term or change anything, they just keep putting you into classes that are the wrong level or schedule. I understand this is for when people change their minds about going to class. But seriously they are ONE THOUSAND PERCENT INFLEXIBLE once they have your money. You could be going to accept a Nobel Prize and they will say "What if we put you in Slovakian on Tuesdays?" They don't have that many classes anymore. It either works for you or it doesn't. It just depends. Good luck!

Pros: - the academics are excellent, especially when it comes to learning to read. - cannot say enough good things about Ms. Gia! - they enjoyed coming to school and loved their teachers - there is a true commitment to the value of bilingualism Opportunities for growth which I don't think could be learned from a tour or handbook: - traditional binary gender stereotypes are reinforced with explanations or comments like "boys like to play more rough" - there is a missed opportunity to engage with parents as equal partners who can add value. - I wouldn't mind sacrificing the academics a bit for more time spent on social emotional content, such as how to navigate conflict on the playground or being inclusive of all classmates or celebrating growth and transitions Would I choose a different preschool if I had to do it all over again? I don't think so. We would still have chosen this school. It was a solid start to our children's school experiences.

The biggest, loudest red flag is their snack menu: skinny POPCORN and RAISINS, two of the most commonly known choking hazards. The admin confirmed their snack schedule is up to date, and indicated "nothing has ever happened before" when questioned about the popcorn and raisins. Well, I'm glad none of the kids under your supervision have choked as a result, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. Any decent preschool / day care would not endanger their littles. On top of that, the teachers looked tired and the playrooms underwhelming. I observed a couple of children practicing writing, yet they seemed dim and not as engaged or as happy as other kids I've observed at other schools. No, I would not recommend this place. I would stay far away.

Finding a preschool you can truly trust isn't easy, and we're so thankful we found Le Petit Gan…read more Our son has grown so much since starting, and it's obvious how much the teachers care about every child. The communication is fantastic. We love getting updates and photos throughout the day, and it always gives us something to talk about with him when he gets home. He's also a big fan of the delicious meals and never stops talking about the chickens and bunny! The entire school has such a warm, positive atmosphere, and it's clear that the staff puts their hearts into what they do. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Le Petit Gan.

As a mom, I'm sharing my personal experience because I know how important it is to feel your child…read moreis safe and happy at school. We enrolled with high hopes, but unfortunately our experience was very different from what we expected. During the time my son attended the school, he came home several times with scratches and bite marks that I had never been told about. I usually found them during bath time, and whenever I asked what had happened, no one could give me an explanation. One teacher, in particular, seemed to make my son very anxious. He would cry whenever he saw her. One day he came home with blood on his clothes, and I was told he had fallen. As a mom, that really worried me and made me question the level of supervision. I also noticed changes in my son's behavior while he was attending the school. He became more irritable, his eating habits changed, and he started hitting his older brother, which was completely out of character for him. I can't say what caused those changes, but I noticed them during the time he was there, and they concerned me. Even after we left the school, whenever we drove past it, he would often become upset and say, "Mommy, I don't want to go to that school." Seeing that broke my heart. It took me a long time to help him feel like himself again. Every child and every family's experience may be different. This was simply ours, and as a mother, I felt it was important to share it so other parents can make the decision they believe is best for their own children.

An Incredible First School Experience!…read more I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Le Petit Gan! LJ started at just 18 months old and stayed until he was almost 4, and during that time, the school became a second home to him. The love, care, and education he received were beyond anything I could have imagined. I was honestly amazed by how much he learned academically at such a young age! Thanks to his incredible teacher, Cece (Cecilia), LJ learned his ABCs, how to count to 100, write his name, math, the solar system, and so much more. They even introduced Spanish and French! But what impressed me just as much was everything he learned beyond academics. He learned how to share, be kind, help others, and recognize when a friend needed a little extra care. Those are lessons that mean just as much to me. And then there are the incredible people who make this school so special. Violeta is truly the mother hen of Le Petit Gan. She lovingly takes care of the children, makes sure everyone is fed, and creates such a warm, nurturing environment. LJ absolutely adored her and still talks about her. Although I suspect he misses her delicious cooking just as much! Mariana, who runs the school, is an extraordinary person. She genuinely cares about every child and family, and that love is reflected in everything she does. And Cece was simply an amazing teacher. Her patience, dedication, and ability to make learning exciting gave LJ such a wonderful foundation. When LJ moved on to his new preschool, I quickly realized just how much Le Petit Gan had prepared him. He is academically well ahead of many of his peers, and I credit so much of that to the incredible education he received here. The only reason we left a little earlier than planned was to have LJ spend a year at the preschool connected to his future elementary school, where his cousin also attends. Otherwise, I would have happily kept him at Le Petit Gan until kindergarten! What makes this school truly exceptional, though, is the love. Every single person who works there genuinely cares about these children. You can teach a child letters and numbers anywhere, but finding a place that nurtures their hearts as much as their minds is something really special. I will forever be grateful to Mariana, Cece, Violeta, and the entire Le Petit Gan family for giving LJ such a beautiful start. We miss you all, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts. I couldn't recommend Le Petit Gan more highly!

Somehow two of my three looks "got lost" and I never received them. They took no accountability and told me that all photos that were taken should be included in the Dropbox but that wasn't the case. My looks were nowhere. Additionally, right after I brought this up to them I stopped receiving emails for internships and opportunities for their job board. It definitely wasn't a coincidence. They told me that I "unsubscribed" (which I didn't) and there was no way to re-add me back on the list.. doesn't even sound believable. I spent thousands of dollars and it was a waste. I don't even think this is a business anymore but if it is, steer clear :)
