This salon is the best salon in Punta Girda. Wendy the owner runs a fantastic operation. The salon is decorated in a classy manner, the stations, manicure and shampoo bowl areas are well laid out. This is a true spa with an assortment of services available. I have been in this salon early and towards closing. The floors and baseboards are spotless. Being a lover of anything beauty I absolutely love trying different and new Med Spas , treatments ect. I have found an amazing hair salon with a fabulous stylist and great nail technician that is my go to ! Each of these at different salons in Punta Gorda. I decided to try Dream Salon & Spa for a massage and my mom a mani pedi. The salon itself is super chic and definitely gives you that Miami vibe, what the salon is going for. The nail area has several color choices with matching gel and regular polish for your pedicure , the spa rooms give off a relaxing vibe while getting ready for your treatment. The staff is welcoming and friendly and you are offered a drink right after checking in. Both myself and mom have been to Dream once before this past May . I got a simple brow wax and my mom a pedicure and brow wax. Upon checking out we were charged $20 for the wax instead the listed price in the salon brochure and website of $15. Which we thought the pricing must not be up today and it was such a small amount . Upon checking out yesterday I was charged the correct price for my massage but my mom was charged an extra $5 for her pedicure, again different from the brochure and online price. Yes this is a very small amount but the advertised pricing should reflect the price of the service. Again the salon decor is chic and the staff very nice and the nail technician did a great job on my moms mani pedi. But the negatives the extra $5 especially after a month later if their pricing has gone up and it's not reflected anywhere at the salon. The mani pedi service was a little over an hour combined and I did not care for my massage it was not relaxing as I had hope and would not recommend Dream for massage services. We both still graciously left tips but decided to pass on booking a appointment in the future. By reading other reviews it is clear the Dream Salon has fabulous hair stylists , staff and their clients are happy. read more

I got a gel manicure by Christine yesterday and it was such a nice experience and my nails look great. It's a newer salon and spa and the interior reflects all of hard work the owner put into the three year build out. Christine couldn't say enough wonderful things about her coworkers and they all seemed like one extended family, which includes their regular customers. When I was getting my manicure, a man was getting a manicure & pedicure and I could tell he was a regular. Christine said that he comes in regularly for men's facials and nail services which I think is fantastic. Spas are no longer just for women because men like to relax and take care of themselves too. I highly recommend Dream Salon & Spa! I only wish that I lived closer so that I could be a regular too. read more

Went in to get a partial highlight. Not going to mention the name of the gal that did my hair, as I don't want to speak bad about someone in a public setting. The entire experience from front to back was extremely rough and aggressive. When she was doing my foils, she would pull so hard on my hair as she painted on the color, that is was incredibly painful. When she was done with that, we went over to the bowl to wash/condition my hair. She scrubbed my scalp so hard that I probably have claw marks on my head. Again, very painful. Back to the chair where she combed my wet hair so aggressively that clumps of hair were coming out, not to mention, you guessed it, extremely painful again. Then as she was drying my hair, she whacks me in the head *hard* with the hairdryer. That hurt so badly that I had to put my hand on my head because of the pain. Never in my life have I had an experience like this. Instead of a relaxing time, I literally felt like I was beat up. Definitely would not go back to see "M" again. That was an unreal experience. Just in case you're wondering, they charged $115 for the highlight, and an additional $25 for the shampoo and blow dry. The aggressive treatment and knot I have on my head was an extra icing on the cake, with no charge. read more

After three salons, I've finally found a great hair dresser and salon! Melissa immediately saw how bad my hair cut was and said "don't worry, I'll fix it". Well she did! Love the cut! Even my husband said twice how nice the hair cut was. The girls at the front desk are very nice. In fact everyone was very friendly. I have short hair but while my hair as processing, Melissa cut another client who had longer hair and did a beautiful job! Go see Melissa and if she's unavailable and another stylist cuts your hair, you'll still leave with a fantastic cut! Reasons why I didn't go back to the other salons : One salon didn't cut my hair they way I asked. One salon was small and no was was friendly. Even when I sat in the stylist's chair she didn't say anything. The third salon, the stylist's didn't cut one side of my hair like the other. read more

The salon has won best salon in Port Charlotte for several years in a row. There is a reason for that, the stylist that work there are the best in Punta Gorda. I had a wonderful experience at Dream. The salon owner was so professional and out of her way friendly. I only got a color and cut, but Melissa, the stylist helped me pick out a beautiful red color and cut my hair like the picture I brought in. We cut around 5 inches off and I feel and look like a new woman. Loved the complimentary glass of wine, too. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. read more
