The Groupon entitled us to two private lessons, unlimited group lessons (during the week(s) of your private lessons) and two dance parties. We met with our dance instructor, Andrea, for our two private lessons and we both had a ball!!! She is amazing. Funny and sassy... she made it so much fun for us!! Sadly, we haven't been able to make the group lessons or dance parties because we live quite a distance away and my husband's work hours are insane. We would very much like to continue our lessons, but the cost of the private lessons is a little more than we can afford at the moment. I imagine the group lessons may be a bit more affordable so we're going to look into that! Ask for Andrea (pronounced Andre-a), she's a delight!!!

I went to a Country Line Dance lesson and open dancing at Dance on Main with several friends. This location reminded me of the movie with Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez called "Shall We Dance". If you have seen this movie, you know what I'm talking about because in that movie, he sees into the dance studio from a Chicago train. The dance floor here in Rochester was as professional as "dancing with the stars". Normally, when I dance all night in my cowboy boots, my feet are hurting at the end of the night and the owner of the dance studio. Let us know that with the cushioning on the dance floor, our feet would not hurt like they normally do from dancing. What a fun place to come. They have regular ballroom lessons and other special events. The parking behind the building was good and they even have a parking structure a block over.
