I began with a series of stretching exercises to be done twice daily. After a number of weeks additional stretching exercises were added. Finally a series of upper and lower body exercises working with weights was added. About this time I saw my osteopath for the first time since she gave me the referral. Unsolicited she commented that my posture had improved and I was standing up much straighter. My range of motion, strength and flexibility have improved. I visited the facility on Monday, Wednesday and Friday over the course of 20 weeks. The staff is professional and is there to help each individual each step of the way. Rick Sidor, the owner, and his staff, Ben and Pat work to ensure each visit is successful. Visits are scheduled to maximize each appointment. My visits included treatments to my back when necessary because of tightness or soreness. For the last month or so of my visits, the treatments weren't necessary. I have joined a gym to continue with exercising. I highly recommend Spine and Orthopedic Rehab.

It is the best of both worlds and I highly recommend this rehab office. The PT assistants also advise you on exercises to help you to strengthen and feel like yourself again!

I made an appointment for my aching lower back, which has been problematic for years. My first…read moretreatment went well, with an extensive discussion of my general health and lifestyle, pain issues, etc. Greg did a treatment which consisted of acupuncture and massage, and my back did feel better for a day or two. That's when the problems started. The next step is to have a conversation with Greg's associate Jonathan, who spends over an hour on the phone giving you the hard sell, replete with the psychological tricks, upsells, financial discussions and pressure tactics you'd expect in buying a car, not treating a medical condition ("if you sign the contract today..."). But the coup de grace is when they send you the contract. Yes, you need to sign a contract to get treated, and not your garden-variety 'I understand there are risks involved' type. No, this one's a full-bore, legalese 7-pager, replete with non-disclosure, payment and collection terms, release from liability (even for injuries caused by negligence), etc. They require payment for all 4 months of treatment, presumably even if you decide to cancel [I refused that part up front, so they changed it slightly but not much.] And, by the way, I spent 30 years in business management and understand how to read contracts; I pity the less experienced person who's supposed to get through this with no preparation. I was looking for medical treatment, not to negotiate my future. I don't understand why anyone would get involved with this to get your back pain treated. Beware!

This is the real deal.. I really did not know what to think when I went to the center. Truthfully,…read moreI said to myself this is going to be some long drawn out process to suck up my money. The owner/practioner proceeded to do an intake asking all the basic questions that a physician would ask. He talked to me and asked me to lay on the table as he proceeded to lower the lights. He then stuck two needles in each extremity and told me to relax as he placed a heat lamp over my abdomen. I almost drifted off to sleep after a while. When it was over he returned to the room removed the needles and that was it or so I thought. After I paid his father I proceeded to my car and suddenly noticed .............My pain and stiffness were gone. Still not truly believing that this could be possible I drove home. I went into my home and told my husband that something strange happened. I said, " The pain is gone."This was not at all what I expected. That was almost 4 weeks ago and some part of me wants not to believe that the pain that I have lived with off and on for years has suddenly left my body. The Dancing Crane is Salem's best kept secret. When I return to my Primary Care Physician, I will recommend The Dancing Crane to all of her hard to treat patients with chronic pain issue. This is my first review and I plan to give frequent updates. The facility is exceptionally clean and has a soothing vibe.
