10 stars. I moved…read morehere last year and well water and water softeners with salt are new to me. I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I hired them last year and they were prompt, professional, and fair priced. They gave me a price before work started and I checked with my neighbor who said the price was "about right" for the service. They installed a line for a water filter and even helped me figure out how it works. They also treated my hot water tank and installed my water line to the fridge. I subscribed to their salt delivery and renewed again because it costs me 275+$ a year for the salt and they are only charging ~320$ this year. Convenience worth it in the winter! What I didn't know is that the service comes with maintenance and adjustments as needed. I decided to buy my own salt this year to "save money" and then my water smelled nasty and sulphuric and I didn't realize the high end unit would take care of this with the correct salt and if it was running properly. They explained all the details, fixed two areas in the hoses that had build up, emptied ALL the salt I put in there into bags so I could give it away, and replaced a part. The bill? Under warranty (from prior home owner!) and service covered by my plan. They even had some crew members drive the part out that was needed ON THE SPOT. My neighbor advised me to install a basic water filter and he said he would do it for me. When I asked the technician for a quote on installation, he didn't encourage me to use their service. Instead of trying to upsell, he advised me I didn't need the filter if the unit was working correctly and if I still wanted it, have my neighbor do it because their charge would be much higher than his. I consider that advice to be a mark of high integrity business standards. They always send two people out so I feel comfortable. Every time I call, I get a response back quickly. Last year, I was a bad home owner and the salt got super low. They sent someone out, middle of the winter, way out in the country, and had my salt here in hours. The technician mentioned they were under new or revised management so perhaps these other reviews are from then. For me, they are the first ones I'll call when I need plumbing and water help.

It was in major need of tender loving care. We ended up buying it and in 2019 started rehabbing it. I wanted it to become the beauty I remembered from my childhood. It is stucco and brick on the outside with wood trim. I started stripping it but realized it was a much bigger job than I could handle. That is when I discovered Advanced Walls and Ceilings owner, Craig Nichols. He and his crew took on the job and I couldn't have found anyone as caring and diligent about what I wanted the house to be. They showed up here every day at 7am and for 3 months I was totally amazed at the transformation. It has been brought from a sad lady back to the majestic beauty she was! These guys are very meticulous and care for every inch they are working on. They are friendly, listen to what you want to be accomplished and are very capable of doing just that. From the outside of the house they have moved to the inside, repairing cracked plaster and painting to make the inside as wonderful as the outside. I can hardly wait to start inviting people in to see my wonderful, beautiful lady brought back to life! If you have anything you want done and done right, working with wonderful people, you call Craig Nichols and crew!!
