This is a corner cafe poised between the Seaside & Morfa areas of Llanelli. This cafe has a lot of formidable competition nearby in the form of The Willow Cafe & The Coffee Pot, serving similar breakfast fayre and chips with everything & dinner lunches. All three cafes in fact do a roaring trade and are very popular quite surprising as you are a good 10-15 minutes walk away from the town centre. However you do have train station nearby, plus local schools, factories etc. to make sure all do well. The thing that may strike you about Venezia is the high levels of cleanliness and hygiene. It is of such a standard that the cafe has won awards, which is in stark contrast to some other greasy spoons in the area. You could literally eat your food off the floor here. The service is prompt & curteous too which all makes for an enjoyable experience. But the best bit of all is the cuisine. On my both my recent visits I have gone for the Full Monty breakfast at the price of £5.25 for an 8 item brekkie with tea & coffee on top (but still incl. in price). Ther are cheaper brekfast options retailing at a pound or two less but none as satisfying if you want the heavy fuel option to set you up for the day. The chip lunches include faggots & chips, ham & chips, cheese & onion pie etc. and five other options all around the £3.70 mark. Everything seems reasonable priced. Beleive there are beef dinners etc. on the menu too as well as a cornucopia of snacks & lighter bites. Well worth calling in to check out if you are in that neck of the woods.

Tastefully furnished with comfortable couches and the more standard table & chairs, place all subtely lit, windows screened with white curtains and floors are laminated wood. The venue is ideally situated in the centre of town opposite the Tinopolis TV studios. Nearby to Alitalia (italian restaurant), Sher Khan (Indian) and Lolek Delcicatessen (Polish). With Avos own mediterranean fare i.e.salads Llanelli will have the beginnings of a burgeoning cafe quarter considering its neighbouring food venues. The clientele were a mixture of families incl.kids, young couples and old age pensioners. The menu offers cooked breakfasts(approx. £4), shared platters (£8-9), sandwiches (£3.65), panninis (£4-5), mediterranean salads (£5), sweet things/pastries (£2-3) and an extensive range of coffee styles with various flavourings (price varies). Plus there is a specials board (av. price £4) with things like soup, bologanise/pasta, chilli etc. Also nice to see a Welsh influence on the menu too with bara brith and the Welsh share platter in amongst the Greek & Caesar salads etc. On my visit I opted for the full breakfast(£4.95)which incl. black pudding, eggs, beans, sausage, bacon, grilled tomatoes & toast washed down with one of their speciality coffees (caramel flavoured cappucino at £2.15). There maybe other cheaper places in Llanelli for breakfast but this was well prepared, had high quality items and was non-greasy. The caramel cappucino has just that wow factor in a word (recommended fo those with a sweet tooth or enjoy a sugar rush with a caffeine burst). Sevice was well above standard and was both friendly, inviting & curteous in addition to being prompt & helpful. The venue does have disabled access, toilets, nearby parking. Would highly recommend this place to a friend or family member as I feel it raised the benchmark for other competing cafes in town with the overall product it promotes. Well done Avo.

Unfortunately you have to drive all the way around the block to get to it since they turned the road next to it into a bus lane. I know many like McDonalds but I find this restaurant this to be below standard. I have had to complain here on more than one occasion, when I had my sons birthday party here they couldnt provide simple things like candles or matches for the birthday cake. The food I have found to be often overcooked or even burnt and if you are ordering from the drive through please check you have all the order you paid for as staff seem to have an inability to complete simple orders. I am not saying all McDonalds are like this - I have just found this one inparticular to be substandard.

The latter is obviously the full menu. What I like is the friendly service and the owner likes to chat to his clientele plus whilst ordering they bring out free poppadums and dips. The food itself is fabulous, well presented & v.tasty and is a fusion of Indo-Chinese cuisine. The indigenous Gurkha beer is well worth trying.

You dont have to book in advance but if you do have a large party it is recommended to do so. The resteraunt is new and clean and the staff are polite and friendly. The menu is varied with many options to suit all, including vegtarians. Main courses vary in price ranging from £8 to £12 on average with a range of steaks, pizzas and pasta. Tables are not too closely packed together which personally is a must for me when eating out. If you are taking kids ask for a colouring pack to keep the kids amused. The standard of food was good and a good time was had by all when visiting. We will definately return.

The café is situated in the centre of town at the side of Ty Elwyn, in fact on the site of the former Old Castle Road café which was a Llanelli mainstay for years. Boleyn's is a newcomer in comparison. As you may draw from the name or the theme or décor of the place us medieval or mock Tudor. Inside it is very compact & bijou (excuse the cliché). There are suit of armour, heraldic flags, shields, tapestries and candlestick holders and all the other ye olde trappings. It is however comfortable and cosy. However the gimmick does not detract from the food. On the previous two visits I have had the breakfast (which is more of a set menu affair) and a lunch which is more daily menu/special based? The breakfast menu ranges from full English, eggs benedict, toast etc. The full English is great and good value for money and is everything you expect from a big breakfast. The lunch varies from day to day, I had Moroccan Beef tagine, and I could have had Peking duck or Duck in Hoisin or Cheese and potato pie. Some customers sat opposite had garlic mushrooms on toast for brunch. Loved my tagine, very spicy, half rice and half chips with side salad. In conversation with the owners and customers found out the place is for hire for private parties and functions on Fridays and Saturdays, they cater for special diets i.e. gluten free, vegetarian, do all sorts of world cuisine on request and charge£1 corkage per person if you may to bring your own alcohol in. The capacity of the place seats 25 sitting down and 35 standing up for say a buffet for example. They are looking to expand to an outdoor seated area too via a patio. The service here is very good and friendly & courteous too. Cannot praise this place enough.

It's pleasant and well looked after and the tables all have tablecloths. The menu is fairly basic (and inexpensive) but there are 'specials' on the blackboard in addition to the plastic menus on the tables. You can have various cooked meals including some vegetarian choices (like the cauliflower cheese on today), plus snacks like pitta bread with various fillings and salad, toasties, baked potatoes and cheese or beans on toast. 'Instant' tea and coffee is available, plus cakes and some desserts. The food was freshly made and served very quickly considering how busy it was.
