As a member I've grown exponentially under his coaching and have made solid connections with other members that I credit with my growth as well. As a team we've been able to compete successfully at many competitions including IBJJF Worlds in Las Vegas standing on podiums consistently. This gym has made many solid connections with gyms throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota including our affiliate Rebel Jiu Jitsu in Minnesota where we get to test our training weekly against a gym stacked full of high level mat monsters. Club 37 has more veteran competitors than they have beginners so every session is going to give you a challenge whether you are new or even an experienced grappler. Oh and the price, well, it's stupid cheap. This gym is more about brotherhood and clout than it is about the money. It takes commitment, drive, and personality to become a member because that's more important to this family. I think it's impossible to find anything near the price with the level of coaching and rolls you get here. But yeah, come see for yourself.

I believe if he treats me this way, it's likely he treats others this way as well. We won't be doing business here moving forward, as there are smaller bike shops with better service and people who aren't conveying passive aggressive energy towards their customers. We've known Rory a long time too, of which have purchased our first bikes when we were kids. When we mentioned that, his rude attitude didn't change. Rory isn't the kind dude he used to be, which was also a disappointment.

Since that review Mater Buckholz has changed how he chooses to do business and return to his roots of providing high quality programs while living and imparting his values through the work that he does teaching MA. I decided to make a stop at the new dojo to inquire about Tai Chi lessons and had a great chat with Master Buckholz. He invited me to come join a class to see how I liked it and I REALLY did. Master Buckholz's teaching style is humble and carefully thought out to impart not just the knowledge of the form, but the importance of the WHY and HOW. He is patient and demonstrates his love for the art of Tai Chi through his encouragement of, and humble attitude toward, his students. In the four weeks since I have been attending his weekly Tai Chi program, I have made great progress (in my eyes...perhaps not anyone else's) and have a much deeper understanding of not only the Tai Chi form, but a better understanding of what Tai Chi is and how it can help me. I love his desire to get us to understand for form, not just be able to replicate the movements. I'm a fan and I look forward to a long relationship with the team at One Tree MA. They teach Yoga here as well.

I love the classes! I always have fun learning what's next in the curriculum. And pushing my ability to get out of the comfort zone that I used to like to hide in. I like that we learn how to actually defend ourselves, and others, in a real life situation. It makes me feel more confident. The instructors are so very helpful and Willing to talk to and help people. I have learned so much on my journey to black belt and now realizing that even after black belt, THE FUN DOESN'T STOP!! I highly recommend One Tree Martial Arts!!! If you like learning new cool techniques, pushing yourself just a little to where you feel the results, maybe a couple jokes in class. YOU WILL LOVE THIS!

Well visiting friends in Wisconsin we were interested in shooting sporting clays. Yelped closest…read morerange near us and found this GEM! Whispering Emerald Ridge is a staple hunting and shooting location in Menomonie, WI. The facility includes a covered five-stand with lights and heat for the winter league shooting enthusiasts. The property is divided into seven hunting fields and has a sporting clay course with a clubhouse and a five-stand shot off from the spacious deck! We called and booked a 12:30pm to shoot sporting clays arrived at 12:00 and spent an hour eating and talking about hunting. The clubhouse is also a restaurant. I had a chicken sandwich, chips and a pop (soda). They DO NOT sell liquor but you are allowed to bring liquor to drink after NOT during the shoot. The proprietors of the establishments were very knowledgeable and enjoyable to speak with while dining and arranging our appointment. They even shared their pheasant jerky with us and we ended up buying several packages before we left. The four of us shot 50 round of clays. We really enjoyed there was a boat with springs you could shoot out of but two out of the three would not even attempt it. Lol! My man crushed them the facility can also be available for a wedding venue. For more information reach out. Over an amazing place to be. Felt like a home away from home. Can't wait to go back.
