When we ordered again a few weeks later they couldn't find a record of it and simply refused to apply the discount we were owed. Only because there aren't many options for takeaway in Taverham we foolishly used this company again this week. Again no prawn crackers that we'd paid for. Called them and they said they'd deliver some in 20 minutes by which time we'd have finished our food. Asked them to send the driver round with the money we were owed instead which they again out right refused to do. And no prawn crackers ever did arrive. Mediocre food. High prices and absolutely terrible customer service. We will never use again and recommend others avoid at all costs.

The staff, be it the person who takes the order or the delivery person, are always polite and cheery. If you decide to go and collect your order, there are a few parking spaces outside the shop and there is a convenience shop next door if you want to go and get some beer! Almost everything that I've tried from her has been good, but I'd particularly recommend the beef with mushrooms and the hot and sour soup! Yum Yum!

Very small inside. It had that authentic greasy smell that Fish and Chips shops used to have before they got all "respectable". I ordered a small Cod and Chips for 5 quid 40p and within 5 minutes I was out the door. That was waaaay too fast I thought and I was not expecting much. What a surprise when I got it home. Small???!! The fish was over a foot long, 4" wide, thick juicy and perfectly cooked. The chips were pretty darned good too. This was Fish and Chips the way I remembered it from my childhood. Awesome! 5/5. Yeah I know its only Fish and Chips but there are too many places that can't get it right.

He, his wife and children (toddlers at the time) were such wonderful people. No Chinese place in America (that I've had) can compare to Rising Star. So many times I have wished to travel back to the UK just for my favorite meal "Spiced Smoked Chicken". None of the Chinese people with restaurants , in any if the States I've lived in, have heard of it. I'm sure it's just as delicious as in 2000 so I give 5 STARS :-)
