A hidden little den for comic fans - this shop has a huge collection of comics in English. As far as I know, it's the only comic shop in Düsseldorf which has English comics, so fans of "originals" will love this. Good shop with fair prices. The shop is joined to a small game shop in the basement, which next to board games also has a tabletop area. read more

The interior is lovely, but the presentation…read morein the main areas is focused on selling you merchandising rather than actual books - Scottish cookies, blank books, Düsseldorf souvenirs, etc. (very much like any Barnes & Noble or Borders). There's a small corner dedicated to English books, but the Stern-Verlag's selection is far superior. The staff was very nice and helpful the one time I was there. This is a bookstore to walk in if you're in the area. If you're looking for books, you should go to the Stern-Verlag.
