An awesome sightseen for those who like calm things and wonderful views as well as for your morning…read morejogging. It is a really nice place where you actually can come with your family and have a picnic during the morning or evening, grab your bike and have a lot of fun. Definetely a MUST when you come to Vienna, in the summer they have concerts or festivals and watersports since it is a cool place to hang out at. You can either come by yourself to talk a walk, running or only stretching or do some yoga, you will find yourself in a beautiful place so that's the only thing you will need. You can arrive by Ubahn very easy. Pro tip: They have bathrooms but you will need to walk some miles to find one. Pro tip 2: Always bring yourself a lunch or snack.

Electric boating rocks!!…read more By far one of the highlights of our stay in Vienna was hiring an electric boat from the lovely people at Eppel Boote. They kindly explained how it worked in English and gave us a docket for an electric boat. And there was one just being docked as we got down to the pier. There is one speed and I would hardly think it goes over 1 knot, but there's no need to hurry. Sit back and take in all that the Alte Danube has to offer. We were here in August, during the heatwave of 2013 and it was HOT! So to cool off, we jumped out of the boat and into the water! It was so cool. Literally and figuratively. They also do pedal boats, row boats and slide boats. There is something for everyone here and I would highly recommend a jaunt on the Alte Danube.
