Three days before my flight I was informed that my scheduled surgeon was unavailable, but I was assured they could accommodate me in Guadalajara instead. The procedure date and a number of other appointments were set. All emails were last minute - even 24 hours before my flight I wasn't sure they had an appointment for me. Upon arrival, all my appointments were rescheduled, the procedure rescheduled for Monday. Sunday night, I received an email stating I was ineligible entirely for the procedure - that it would most likely fail. While I'm glad they didn't just go through with it, I also asked why they didn't tell me before I flew to Mexico. They claimed my dentist didn't send my records in time - my dentist has timestamped emails that disprove that claim. I did receive a teeth cleaning and small filling replacement from a skilled and kind dentist at Dental Express. However, the management's incompetence overshadowed this positive experience. When I asked what treatment they would recommend, they suggested a mouthwash. I flew 2,000 miles for this experience and under no control of my own, wasted a significant amount of money and time. Don't use Dental Express if you value either.

We decided to go to Guadalajara Mexico and see how much this treatment would cost we were quoted from between $15,000 in $18,000 still extremely expensive but better than the price in the US. Dr. irma was extremely professional and on the first consultation spent about two hours with my brother adjusting his dentures which he would have to wear for a time before the implants were actually done. This would've never happened in the United States where the Dentist might see you for 15 minutes. The surgeon who is actually putting in the implants speaks English and was extremely professional and nice, again spending a lot of time explaining what procedures are going to be done. He still has to go back one more time for the completion of this dental work but he was extremely happy with the people and the work that was done so far. I went to see this doctor because my dentist in the United States said I had three cavities and needed a new crown more than $2700. While in Mexico I had a complete and extensive set of x-rays done and my doctor said I had no cavities and I was not in need of a crown on that particular tooth but actually another one which my dentist in Sacramento California did not even mention My exam cost less than $40. This office is staffed by all females and they will be moving to a new office in a few weeks. I had looked outside of the USA for dental care due to lack of insurance coverage. I was very apprehensive, and I should not have been. Dr Cesar was as good if not even better than any dentist I have seen in the USA or the UK. The equipment at his disposal and turn around for making crowns was even better than what I have seen in the USA. For those planning a visit, I would recommend finding a room on AirBnB walking distance to Cabdental offices, and getting an UBER taxi from airport to your AirBnB. This area is affluent and safe to walk in, even at night. The whole plane trip, taxi/accommodation and dental visit will cost you less than the cheapest cash only dentist in the USA, and with Cabdental at least, the likelihood of leaving with a problem is no different than a good doctor in the USA. Finally Dr. Cesar is the son of a dentist who also works in the same offices and the professionalism from front desk check in all the way through just shows from the day you arrive.
