I was not expecting that from a place in Angier, NC and I don't give that designation lightly. The meatballs were perfection, served in a nice crusty roll with fresh mozzarella and a fantastic sauce. I want to drive back down there just thinking about it and I live 45 minutes away. I also had a cannoli and it was exceptional as well. I'm a cannoli junky and this one did not disappoint. I often don't like the ones where the shell is coated in chocolate because they're often some manufactured shell dipped in waxy chocolate. Not the case here. The quality of the chocolate this shell was dipped in was excellent. If you're in the area and want a great Italian sandwich, absolutely stop by. It's so good it gets the rare Stevie K Certified Legit AF designation.

I spoke with the manager who immediately went out and took down the food pickup sign. I was grateful for such immediate response. I prefer shopping Food Lion over Harris Teeter. The produce is as good and prices are much better. Also Food Lion is always well staffed unlike Harris Teeter which has minimal staffing and finding available staff to assist is sometimes challenging.
