It's also one of the OneMedical offices with a pediatric practice. So why only 3 stars? The lab, especially on weekends, is a calamity. One time my wife had to wait *an hour* to do a simple lab test. Another time it was an unnecessary wait and hassle just to pick something up from the lab. Honestly, if you anticipate needing lab work on a weekend, you may want to consider another location unless you're out of choices. I'm not sure what's going on as neither of us has ever waited more than a few minutes for the lab at any other location. I shudder to think what it would be like if you had to wait an hour with your sick child. With that caveat, if you don't need lab work on a weekend, I wouldn't hesitate to go to this OneMedical location and expect their usual high quality of service and care.

In general, I like the integration of the app & telehealth with the office and the idea of a more personalized focus on primary care that One Medical provides. Specifically, I like this location where the staff are all very nice and welcoming. It seems like the staff really care about improving health and "taking care" of you. I tried out the Chevy Chase location last year and had a bad experience with a shockingly rude doctor that surprised me. If I went into detail about what happened there, you would be appalled. I've been to the Bethesda location a lot and they have been great every time. If I had only experienced the Chevy Chase location, I would have quit this program but I've been consistently happy with Bethesda. I haven't tried other locations but the model is that they are a different experience than your average primary care medical office. They are very prompt, stylish and offer the choice between in-person services and telehealth. Prior to One Medical, I had a less than stellar experience with a primary care doctor in a different system. When I say that I've been consistently happy with this Bethesda office, I don't say that lightly. It is pleasant and convenient.

She is the only PCP I have ever had who actually does return telephone calls personally, and will call to follow up on labs, etc., and to see how you are doing if you have been hospitalized or particularly sick. Sure, the décor of the office isn't particularly modern and the space is cramped, but I would rather have a provider that actually cares about me and gives me the time I need than have a wonderful façade with no substance behind it. I have been to doctors who have their pens and Rx pads in their hands before you even get through the door. I would rather have someone who listen to my problem than someone who is more focused on getting me out of the door asap with a piece of paper in my hand. She is an old-school Doc who doesn't mince her words, so if you are looking for someone who will just give you whatever you want and pat you on the head, this may not be the doctor for you!

She does not over prescribe and she is thoughtful and takes her time. I have never felt her rushing me or pushing to finish an appointment. She cares about your health in a holistic way and emphasizes how your mental health can impact your physical health. In short, she is wonderful and caring.

I wanted to update my review since I originally started going to Dr. Felber's MedOne urgent care in…read more2015 when I moved to the area. Over that time I've used MedOne to fill the gap because they have very convenient hours and are open late on both weekends and weeknights. And I have always found them to be both extremely patient-focused and caring, and a great resource to have in mind if you need to use them. Basically, this is just a very good convenient way to see a doctor on the fly in Bethesda. They also have a few common prescriptions on hand in the office so they can give you them on the spot, often at very low prices which saves you from going to the pharmacy for a $5 generic prescription or something like that. That seems like a small thing, but it's part of a bigger thing which is that this is a small patient-focused business that does what it does well. While sometimes during peak hours it gets slightly full or chaotic, often if you go at slightly off peak hours you can be in and out really fast. My insurance also recently changed and I didn't notice that they were out of network, but they accepted the not so high payment my insurer gave me to cover it, rather than charging me the balance. I was honestly really surprised that they did that because it's so uncommon these days. This also goes toward showing that MedOne and their doctors can be caring and understanding in a way that a mega practice is definitely not going to be. In closing, I think this is a great small business run by caring doctors, and it provides an excellent counterpoint to other options that are available. You can ask them really anything you want by phone or at the desk. And it's a completely different feeling than at the larger business alternatives in the area which are run by practices that employ hundreds of doctors, have very aggressive billing departments, etc. This is an office where things are more transparent and simple. I think it's been a staple of the community :)

My son is a competitive swimmer who has Ehlers Danlos. As a former athlete with EDS, Arona knows exactly how to treat this. My son felt understood for the first time in his life after meeting with Arona. From the exercises, dry needling, massage and extensive education about his condition, everything about his treatment plan has been truly excellent. My son suffered a fractured vertebra this year and once again, Arona was there to explain exactly what he needed to do to fully recover. Arona was invaluable in keeping my son optimistic about his recovery and guiding him on exactly what he needed to do. My son is excited to see Arona and to follow his treatment plan because he says, "Arona has been through a lot with me and has always been right." I have started seeing Arona for my own long term back pain because after seeing how he helped my son, it would be hard for me to go back to any other PT.
