I went to Dr Oraee ONCE... back in the early 2000's when his office was on Opitz Blvd. When I called to make the appointment I was told they were participating with my insurance. My co-pay was $20, I think. It's been 20+ years. I paid the co-pay. I waited quite a long time and when I finally got into the room I waited another 15 minutes. He comes in, doesn't greet me, looks at me and says something like, "if you're here for drugs, forget it." Ya see, I was in my late 40's at the time, hair way past my shoulders, and a few arm tattoos. He judged me by my looks, not my medical problem. I told him where my constant pain was and he gave me a script for Motrin 400. I was laughing inside.. He said come back and see me in 4 weeks. I went to the receptionist and made another appointment. About 2 weeks later I got a bill from them for the entire visit less the $20 I paid. I drove there to find out what the problem was. Then the same lady told me they didn't take the Blue Cross plan I had. I told her she told me he did. That's not my fault, it's yours. She said I still owed the money. I told her I'd pay on my next visit. I went home and called my insurance company. I was told that Oraee USED TO be but they canceled his contract. She said she can't tell me why, but he's NOT a participating physician. The next day I drove there again. I spoke with the same lady again. This time she was rude and started raising her voice. I told her to cancel my next appointment. Then she asked me for the money I owed. I told her to tell Oraee to take me to court and sue me. It's been about 20 years and I never heard anything. A few years after my experience, my now deceased sister-in-law, came to stay with us for awhile. She lived in a different state. She was already under doctor's care for pain management. She chose Oraee even after I told her my experience. I took her to her appointment. She had several empty bottles of the meds she was on. I waited for her and when she came out she had several scripts, all were controlled substances. So, I'm a man and he wouldn't give me anything but Motrin 400... but a 40ish yr old single female goes in and he gives her way more meds than anyone person needs. STAY AWAY! read more

Been a patient for 9 years . He left his practice with no notice. I only found out when I showed up for my appointment. I can't imagine how many patients were left like this. This is illegal and called patient abandonment. Would love to know if anyone is taking legal action , read more

So, I have some pain, tingling and numbness that goes from my hands all the way to my shoulder. I called everywhere to get an appointment to see a neurologist, everywhere I called was booked for months ahead, except this one, at first it was exciting, but after couple visits I learned why this places have opening appointments unlike the rest! Day 1 I went there, a very nice nurse to me in ask me all kind of questions, which is very normal, then she told me the Dr. will be with you shortly. After few minutes he came in, and you can tell he is just in hurry to move on to the next patient. He asked me what is wrong I told him everything, he said he wasn't sure exactly and but he was sure it was not carpal tunnel, because the pain shouldn't pass my elbows! So he said I should get an MRI done, once I get the MRI done, I should come back so he can read my results and give me a nerve test to find out more. While he was ready to leave I asked him, do you think it might have to do anything with my shoulders nerves since I had surgery there, his response and I am not joking " I am not orthopedic you should ask that question to an orthopedic" I was shocked with his answer and lack of professionalism! As I had no choice at this point I went got my MRI done almost 2 weeks before my follow up, and I made sure the next day the MRI office sent the results to him! So he had my results for almost 2 weeks! So, I went to my follow up, the same nice nurse came and took me in and explained to me the nerve test, and she said he'll be with you in few minutes. 45 minutes later I am still room waiting for him, he finally shows up, and shock the living crap out me for 20 minutes with nerve test, then he came to the conclusion that is carpal tunnel, I asked how is that possible? Last time you said that can't be because of the pain going all the way to my shoulder, then, I asked have you looked my MRI results, his response no I can't because this computer is only for testing, then I said I am not asking you to look at it now, have you looked at it before meeting me you had it for almost 2 weeks? Obviously, he did not! Somehow I knew this was going to happened, and I was prepared so I had print out of my result with me so I handed it to him, and he looked at them and he goes like: ohh you might have some nerves issue on your shoulder by neck, and he handed back to me and he goes like we can't talk more about this in your next follow up!! I looked at him, I was like hold on, at first you diagnosed me with carpal tunnel, before examining my MRI that your order me to get and I paid $100 out of pocket, then after second of glimpse into the result I gave you, you said I might have an issue with my neck, so I was like which one is it? Then he says do you have your MRI images, I was like no but you do, for almost two weeks and I shouldn't even be giving you my print out results. He asked me to follow him to front desk to schedule for another follow up, I told the front desk no thank you, this Dr. Samad Oraee has not freaking clue what he is taking about and what he is doing. And I said will be going to somewhere else even if I have to wait longer. The same day I email the front desk to send my results of his so called " carpal tunnel" diagnosis, 3 weeks later haven't heard from them. And this why ladies and gentleman this place has open appointments! How Dr. Samad Oraee became a Dr.? Well that is mystery!!! read more

Enjoyed the Dr he's direct and explains everything. Have since found out he was arrested in 2014 for dispensing pain meds w/o visit explains why he has signs all over about NOT dispensing ANY pain meds. The staff is another story! Brian left he was the only compassionate understanding person in that office. I owe $125 on my bill and since he left paying my $25 per week has been HELL! Yesterday I called 3 times and was HUNG UP ON! Their waiting music on the phone is so loud it gave me a migraine. I FINALLY got a girl, who refused to give me her name, to pay my bill. I gave her my c/c #, expire AND security code THREE TIMES! And I found a message on my phone during my drive to work that they didn't have the expiry or code. WTH?!?! So, I called to leave the info. I told the new gal who answered I was at work and unable to give personal info, I just had my account number. She said if you can't give me the card # or your birth date I can't help you then HUNG UP ON ME! I'm trying to PAY my bill and she HUNG UP ON ME! I explained I work in a bar and am unable to give that info out due to lack of privacy where I was. She said "not my problem" then hung up on me. OMG! I was in shock. I will pay this bill and tell EVERYONE at my bar NEVER go to this office! read more

I have been going to this practice for about 4.5 years now. I go for pain management due to Issues from a rare disease and cancer. I started a few years ago by seeing Dr. Oraee. I now see the NP there. My life changed when I started going there for treatment. Before I had no quality of life. I lived flat on my back in bed 24/7 in horrible pain. I now can get out and walk and my quality of life has greatly improved. The NP is wonderful. You can tell she really cares. She spends time with you and also takes the time to teach you about what is going on with you and listens to you. She has also been very encouraging to me. They also take care of Neurology related issues. They have recently moved offices and have a whole floor to themselves. The parking is great and it is easy to get in and out. The office staff have always been very kind to me. So I highly recommend this practice! read more

Had a 4:30 appointment. Late 7 minutes. Receptionist tried to "gently remind me" my appt was at 4:30. I REMINDED her that last time I was there I sat for over an hour past my appt time. Needless to say, I left w/o seeing the Dr. And I won't be going back. Not worth the hassle. read more

Good doctor, horrible office staff. Office manager Gloria is rude, condescending and unprofessional. Dr Oraee is a good doctor, but he doesn't allow you to take part in your treatment options which doesn't make you feel good. read more

I don't like to bad mouth anyone or their business, but I must say that my visit to See Doctor Oraee today was very disheartening to say the least. First of all I did not get to see doctor Oraee at all. My appointment was at 11:15 am,. I arrived around 10:45 and was given an enormous amount of paperwork to fill out. while I was filling our the paperwork I notice that a patient who appointment was schedule for 11:45 was called ahead with of me. So I approached the young at the desk to inquire why I was not called up for my 11:15 am appointment. Her reply was "you did have an appointment at 11:15, but, because you did't turn your paperwork in on time is the reason") I asked her why this was not explained to me doing my sign-in? All I wanted to hear from her and the young man and young who ID themselves as managers was an apology. They were very unprofessional and constantly made excuses as to why this lack of information was not conveyed to me, and to inform me if I did not want to be served, I could leave. This was supposed to be my first appointment. I was truly disappointed with the totally unprofessional attitude and the horrible customer service! Would not recommend any patients refers to this particular medical facility. read more

I saw Dr. Oree's specialist for chronic migraine. I was just about to go for my 3 month appt. when I received a letter from Dr. Oree saying that the specialist was gone & we should call his office for refills on our prescriptions & that we could no longer go to his ofc for treatment. I called because my sumatriptan needed refilling. Dr. Oree rejected the request. He wanted me to pay him for an appt. to refill a prescription which is very needed and which I have been using for several years. read more
