My son had an appointment with this practice for over one month. The day prior to the appointment,…read morethey called him and cancelled his appointment, stating they don't accept his insurance. They could have told him that when his primary physician made his appointment, but it gets worse. His insurance plan verified this practice is in the network and agreed to accept his insurance plan. When the healthcare plan representative called them for an explanation, they state they decided NOT to accept EPO plans, acknowledging they had agreed to accept them. This callous disregard for patients is disgusting and inflicts further harm on those needing these services. Avoid this dodgy, mercenary Dr. and his uncaring staff.

Now I have been seeing Dr Gill on a more regular basis for those migraines but also for peripheral neuropathy in my left leg which has become a big factor in my life. I really appreciate the time he takes to sit down with me and explain what's impacting my balance which has gotten worse but he has really tried to help me in this regard. His office is nearby and I always have good access to make an appointments with him as need be. He's a great doctor and I don't feel bad talking to him about anything.

Dr. Neil Maru was my dad's neurologist for over 5 years. I have never met him but, feel like I know…read morehim after my Dad's torturous ordeal dealing with end of life and severe dementia. My dad's is 82 years old and his mental state took a drastic turn for the worse in the last few months. My Stepmother Joyce has been lovingly taking care of my dad. She did this with the thought of keeping him at home and not committing him a facility. I came 2 weeks ago to help my father who was in a highly agitated state. He was hallucinating ,panicking, falling out bed, generally in a state of panic and terror. Dr. Maru prescribed a med in such a low dose that it did absolutely nothing and possibly made things worse. We finally took him to the ER at Dr. Maru's suggestion and found out his only issue was severe dementia. At this point we hired a home health agency to sit with dad 12 hours per night, When they saw my father they immediately said he was a candidate for hospice. We got an order for hospice and palliative care. I carried the ER report to Dr. Maru's office he refused to sign the order for hospice, stating he had seen him weeks ago and he was not in such a state. We were at a complete loss. My dad was in mental agony couldn't stand, eat or even recognize us. At this point we hired an Md. to do a house call and assess my dad. He immediately agreed my dad needed to be in the care of hospice. He is now unconscious But fortunately in a comfortable state. He will pass away soon fortunately at peace. Dr. Maru completely failed my dad. He is at end of life and needed care and compassion. Dr. Maru offered absolutely nothing and didn't have any idea of my dad's condition who was his patient for 5 years. It's as if he didn't believe family members or for that matter the ER. To let my dad be in such state of misery for weeks is unacceptable. While he may be a good MD for sleep studies. I would "beware" and not trust your loved one to his care. Especially at end of life. He completely failed my dad. He has a total lack of attention ,caring or compassion.

Very happy with Woodbridge Pediatrics. I started bringing her here when she was about 10 months old…read moreand have been in love ever since. All of the doctors have something special about them. I love that Dr. Lorenz is old school and avoids giving my daughter medication unless it's absolutely necessary. Dr. Labriola, on the other hand, is very cautious and will prescribe something for you to have just in case. Dr. Gorman & Dr. Beckhit are warm and personable, and share very similar views with me. Both so sweet. Lol there's only one doctor that is kind of a jerk (dismissive, talks over you, etc) but I won't take away from the fact that he is knowledgeable. I trust them all with my daughters health.

The overall care was okay, but I was concerned that I wasn't given any time alone with the provider…read moreas an older teenager. Ruth did not ask my parent to step out, and sensitive questions--like whether I feel safe at home--were asked in front of my mom. She also didn't ask about sexual activity at all. I had planned to discuss birth control, but I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up with my parent in the room and didn't want to ask her to leave myself. I think it's important for teen patients to have some private time with their provider so they can ask questions and be honest, especially about topics like safety, mental health, and reproductive health. Big fail on the behalf of this provider, will stay at this practice but I will be switching doctors.

If I could give ZERO stars, that's exactly what he deserves…read more My wife went to him once, a few years ago... His bedside manor is horrible. He was so rude to her that I almost said something, but I refrained. She was constantly having horrible migraines and towards the end of the visit, she asked if he was going to give her anything to help her migraines. He said something like..... Oh, you're here to get drugs... if so, you won't get it here. His reference was appalling. Constant migraines with aura "can be" a higher risk of a future stroke. A couple years later she had her 1st stroke. In the hospital she was seen by a really nice neurologist. He was thorough and easy to speak to. He listened and didn't walk out of the toom in 2 minutes. He spent about 15-20 minutes listening and explaining to our concerns. She still sees him. After that hospitalization, I went to Dr Gill's office to get a copy of her transcript of her ONE office visit. The receptionist told me there was a "search fee" and a per page copy fee I'd have to pay. I don't remember the exact amount.... but I want to say the "search fee" was about $50 and it was about $5 per page. The actual charges could be wrong. They could have been higher or lower but that's what I recall. I kindly asked the receptionist why did I have to pay $50 to type my wife's name and date of birth into her computer. I told her I knew it was the doctor, not her and she was just doing her job. She was nice and understood why I felt that way. I never got the copy. Since then she's had 2 more strokes.
