Dr. Suzy is carefully caring for a cavity for youngest daughter who is 5.

My girls have been seeing Dr. Suzy for years. Recently, my youngest daughter needed crowns. I so appreciate how Dr. Suzy and staff took painstaking extra steps to explain in detail the process my daughter would undergo having her cavities filled and crowns placed. As a result, my youngest looks forward to going to the dentist. Thanks so much, Dr. Suzy and the team at Rabitz Pediatric Dentistry!

This is a great office and I highly recommend taking your kids to this practice. We have seen both Dr. Rabtiz and Dr. Suzy over the years. They are both incredibly experienced, patient and overall just great pediatric dentists. They take the time to explain x-rays, procedures, and treatment plans that gives me confidence as a parent to make informed decisions for my kids. I never feel rushed, and I appreciate that they also focus on the education of how to prevent cavities before they happen.

My son has been going to Dr. Rabitz for the past 2 years and just recently it was my 1st time taking him for his 6-mos visit. My husband usually takes him. When I first yelped "pediatric dentist" I found Dr. Rabitz and saw how great the reviews were but I was surprised to see how decorative the office was (like a first forest) and that there was a wall dedicated to the little patients for having no cavities. The staff were very friendly and this was my son's first time seeing Dr. Lam. She was very sweet and was wearing head band with a lamb on it. Cute! The check in process was fast and were called within 5 minutes. We were taken to a sink where my son gets to choose a toothbrush and then brushes his teeth with it. The toothbrush then gets seals up in goody bag and he is walked to a station that had a small chair that fitted him perfectly. It was one of the many questions they had there. Each chair was divided by a cabinet door for some privacy and a stool for a parent to sit on. He gets to choose a vitamin flavor for his teeth and was given the head phone to watch whatever movie was playing. Within minutes, Dr. Lam arrived and she looked through his teeth while speed talking to her assistant who was typing to document her observations & check up on my son's teeth. She answered some questions I had not asked yet and showed me some things I didn't know. Did you know teeth have birth marks? I didn't. After the check up, Dr. Lam moved on to the next patient and the assistant applied the vitamin on my son's teeth and we were done. He was then directed to the treasure chest to grab a toy. I went out to the front desk and schedule the next appointment while handed a little yellow sticky with my son's name on it. I was distracted watching my son's picture taken as he didn't get a cavity so I wasn't aware that I had to put the sticky in the big giant tooth for some kind of lottery/prize (my husband shared the reason for the sticky when I came home with it). Oops, i thought it was a label on my son's dental goody bag to label it. My husband and son knew this process yet they didn't tell me. Sighs. I would definitely recommend this office, however, I do want to let you know that they charge $14 for a cavity assessment and Delta Dental Plan does not cover it. I thought the whole point of the check up is to assess my son's dental health including sights of possible cavities. Doesnt make sense. I had noticed this on my very first bill and didn't know that we can waive it as they dont ask you for your permission. You can ask them to waive it when the bill comes. I asked in advance this time so I'll see when the bill comes if the fee is included or not. Overall, I am very impressed with this office.

The office staff is very diligent and professional. The best part is the dentist, who really cares about the child and proper treatment plan. I had a bit of an issue with some logistics which he took care of immediately. Your kiddos will enjoy the fun environment and balloons and toys at the end of the visit. Dr Rabitz is a great dentist and person. I'm glad I took my daughter to him for a second opinion.

He started developing a cavity between his two front teeth at age 3 and I informed the dentist sent photos & also booked an appointment to get it checked out asap. The Dentist said it was a cavity and to keep an eye on it pretty much is all he could do. He didn't recommend filling it since he was only 3 years old I believe he said we could wait until he's older. Fast forward 6 month the cavity got bigger & started spreading to other teeth! Brought him back for his normal 6 month check up and he said again nothing he can do since he's so young. Didn't offer or recommend anything basically said wait it out. We kept getting no real solution. That same week I took matters into my own hands and sourced two different dentist (out of pocket pay since we already did out 6 month cleaning) Both new dentist gave me a laundry list of all the work that needs to be done on my son. Almost 3k worth of work 6 fillings 3 baby root canals!!! Milpitas dentistry never mentioned all this extra stuff that both of my new dentist seen! He only mentioned the 2-3 cavities I brought up to him, I was so annoyed like how did they not see all of this?? Blows my mind that we payed this dentist $300 a visit for cleanings and all they ever did was brush his teeth and not even point out all of these cavities and just let them get bigger. I'm only writing this post because I found them on YELP so I don't want another person to have this experience.

As I was attempting to find my new insurance card (I have a different plan since our last visit), the front desk staff stated they could not find me online and asked me if I wanted a printout. I was confused by the question and asked "a printout of what" and she responded "do you want me to print out what we see...that we can't find your insurance coverage". I said no as I didn't see the point and wanted to focus on logging into my work phone to find my insurance card. The staff person decided to print it out and hand it to me anyway. I'm not sure if she thought this was helpful, but I found it to be very rude. What was I supposed to do with that printout? Then they proceeded to ask if I wanted to reschedule (it had been a good 10 minutes past our appointment time). No I did not want to reschedule! What would have been helpful would have been for the staff to take the kids back and start their appointments while I grabbed my laptop from the car and logged in to access their insurance card information. What would have also been helpful is to have an email listed on their website so I could give feedback directly to them. Instead, I am forced to write a negative public review which I don't normally like to do. We will not be returning as I do not appreciate their lack of customer service and respect for other people's time. I took time off of work and my daughter missed an after-school activity for this appointment. This was a complete waste of time and energy. I don't recommend bringing your kids here if you want a nice experience from start to finish.

Then this May I started receiving a bill online. The "bill" never provided an explanation as to what exactly they were for. I asked for an itemized bill, in which they could not produce for months. It wasn't until August that someone called me back to tell me verbally what the charges were (x rays that I didn't know my child took), but still nothing on paper and I received a notification every month about my outstanding mysterious balance. In early Nov, they finally produced an itemized bill that I have attached. I'm still not sure why under 3 years old oral evaluation isn't covered by my insurance, but that's what I was told. I paid the statement balance and today, 12/5, I receive yet another notice that I owe $7. There was no explanation, but comparing the two statements, which I have included here, it seems they randomly changed some charges and even added a charge. This is fraud because the last six months they have sent me a different bill this whole time and now all of a sudden after I paid they decided to change the charges with no explanation? It is also harassment to continue to email someone without providing any explanation for the charges. It's their responsibility to make sure the charges are correct and it seems they're just arbitrary at this point. Stay away from this incompetent business.
