Contacting them by phone also proved impossible. Scam artist vibe - I think when they have your money, they disappear. Very unprofessional service from both guide and company.

It was very easy to find the tour guide in the right spot in Marienplatz and we did start right on time with a large group of 15 people. The tour ran close to four hours. Several cultural spots along the way and a nice walk through and around the Viktualienmarkt. Several of the food items we got a chance to try were delicious and enjoyable. I particularly liked the fresh schmaltznudeln (a sweet bread filled with stewed plum - sort of like a jelly donut but not quite). The tour was A-OK and could use some improvement. The hour we spent at the pub with sausages was entirely too long. The fruit vendor was interesting but they're exotic imported fruits, not local to Bavaria. The tastes we got at the herb vendor were good, my favorite was the wild garlic. I've been on food tours in Copenhagen, Porto, Istanbul, Palma and Milan. My favorite was the Helsinki, which was all about the local stuff. This was an interesting tour, but I'm not sure that it met my expectations. [Review 12018 overall, 1801 of 2019.]

Obersendling

Worst place in Munich ever: -it endangers your health:…read moreyou live right next to a very noisy construction site. it is a skyscraper which is from the ground to the 20th floor built with asbestos, which the wind brings to campus südseite. look this media release: das gift hochhaus von sendling in english the headline means "the toxic skyscraper of obersendling". -the caretaker Ulrich Kohn is aggressive, threatens students with death, screams at them without any reason, is simply disturbing. he calls female inhabitants prostitutes and claims he fu**** them for money. Ulrich is lazy as shit, refusing to help the students. Many things in the flats and house are broken since a very long time, Ulrich refuses to repair them. -the community rooms of the house are closed most of the time. if Ulrich finds students in the communinty rooms he screams at them and is throwing them out immediately. why do we pay if we cant use the common rooms? -if you park in front of the house the caretaker is having your car tow away (400 euros). the caretaker himself in contrast to that is parking in the firefighter accessibility in front of the house all the time. -there is camera surveillance everythere and the caretaker is showing the surveillance pictures to his favourite students and gives them pictures of other students via bloothouth. -it is an extreme money rip off. you pay a high rent in addition to that the caretaker is ripping you off lots of money for everything. you need a transponder to get into campus which is broken every 2 or 3 months, then you need to pay a new one for 80 euros. the gym is not free in fact you need to pay to get the entrance card. -the house management is racist, proudly telling that they are "not renting to people from your country". the managements rips you off when you move out by claiming that things are broken so you pay maybe another montly rent when you move out.

I had horrible experience with them. When I was about to move out, I was told that i have to pay 200 euro cleaning fee, although i have already cleaned the room. They even ask me to clean the roof of the room, which was not perfectly okey when i moved in. In the end, although i have tidied up every corner of the room, they still need to charge me for 100 euro. (for NO reason!) I had to give up arguing and pay, otherwise they wouldn't let me leave. What is even worse, is that when they ask you to sign a document while moving out, they would hide the cleaning fee on the backside of the page, so if you are not careful enough to turn the page around, you would not notice what they might have written on the backside. In my case, i did turn the page around, and i saw the staff wrote lines such as '180 euro charge for the unremovable dirt on the wall'. I told him that those were already there when i moved in, he immediately crossed that line saying that he would investigate further before claiming the charge. I was totally irritated at how sneaky the staff are and how they have been trying to force different kind of $$$ on you..
