I would not recommend Botox here. I have had Botox 2 times previously. The last time I went to a dermatologist who recommend I get 20 units. I said let's start with 15. It gave me a nice eyebrow lift, my face a was a little more tight / stiff then what I actually wanted, So next I thought I'll get 12 units. I went in to Dr.k and after she did my moms Botox she estimated how much I should get and after counting the lines on my face she counts for 1,2,4,5,6,7 and said I'd do 29 UNITS ALSO! Umm how the hell do you come up with 29 units! In 25 years old. I have a few lines I want gone.. I felt taken advantage be of. I left without getting Botox because of how dishonest I felt they were. I thought to myself you are either going to give me 29 and I'll hate it, or your going to charge me for 29 and only give half that.. I found out about this place through a co-worker and I ended up getting a great discount for underarm hair removal. So far I do feel that the hair growth has been reduced but I've only had a total of 2 treatments. This is a very cute place and I love the little coffee bar they have set up. For the most part I've had a great experience and I'm excited to continue to see the progress. I went in for a complimentary (free) Botox consultation. No one had a mask on. I was greeted and escorted to the consult room by someone with no mask on. Passed a set (2) of employees who were working on some laptops in a room with no masks on. Luckily my consultation was with Alexa and she did actually wear a mask. She was super knowledgeable, friendly and patient as she answered all my questions and explained the process. Her recommendations seemed conservative and reasonable. Next to the medical table there was a tray with exposed and what appeared to be used and new syringes. Either way, it appeared unkept. Enjoyed Alexa hated everything else. I had to leave a message for an appt. They called they next day. I asked about the price for a procedure, the girl said $25. I said ok, I was on my way. Halfway there, she called back and said its $50. I paused, and said ok. When I got there, the price changed to $100. I hesitated, but I really needed this IV. When I got in the room, and was hooked up to the IV, I said to make sure, 'this is $100. and its vitamin C right?" The girl hesitated, an said, 'hold on,' left the room, came back with a price of $150. then she said, 'it's got some vitamin C in it.' The needle was already in my veins. So these people have no clue what they are doing. They are price gougers, scammers, and yes, I paid cash, I was given no receipt..figure that one out with irs. read more

Their massage therapist, Tina, has worked wonders on my body. I get headaches, and have neck and back issues and she was able to get rid of my pain in one session. They have a membership which uncludes a $100 credit each month towards any product included in the membership. I don't like to make bad reviews but I couldn't let this one go. I had worse experience of my life!!!! I found this spa on yelp and I also looked it up on google just to read couple reviews. There were some nice reviews. I guess because they tell customers if they leave reviews they get 10 off they next visit "wasn't interested". I wanted to get deep pore cleaning I noticed some spots on my face and I wanted a professional look at them and some treatment along side with some recommendations. I am 26 year old African American this was my first facial I have sensitive skin and I always feared of an experience like the one I'm going to tell you about here. This place was clean and welcoming for most part. I was treated by Mia Saban. At beginning of this session as we was getting ready, she asked me many questions about how I treat my face. I answered question honestly, after a while I was annoyed because she was laughing and said I was funny. By the way I have sense humor but hers was little over top dealing with concerned client. I wasn't laughing or making jokes because I came to be educated and receive service. Moving on this lady explained I have neglected my face and is experiencing sun damage. I did appreciate some her recommendations it was basic but useful. Moving on to this horrible facial I experienced. Mia explained everything she was doing up until part where she shaved my face and gave me edge on my head line. Shaved my side burns which I like by the way. I didn't request this at all. I specially told her not to shave my face and asked her while she was doing it cause I seen hair falling she said "No, I'm just getting the dead skin off face" not true at all. Moving on this lady said I'm do a chemical peel idk what that is or what it does I only researched what I asked for which was deep pore cleaning facial. So, she did worn me it burn and let her know if it too much. This stuff she put on my face had my face on fire. Now we all know ladies beauty is pain. I stock it out and she put two layers I guess. The most horrific pain in my life. Now session is over. I go to pay for this facial and now she bring up this chemical peel and said it's $30 extra. See this makes my blood boil and I'm trying to keep it together, because I was already disappointed now you want me to pay for something I didn't ask for or you didn't inform me of. So, she took it off my bill and said next time expect to pay for it. And she had nerve to talk to me like five year old. No Thank You!!! Now fast forward to waking up in Morning to face looking like I been in fight with a cat. Scabs everywhere. Now I start looking up chemical peel and stuff. First of all it don't even burn upon application to ones face, but if you shave your face it will burn extremely. Now that I see scabs I had open skin my pores was exposed. I recently went here for a massage with Shawna, one of Dr. K's in-house massage therapists. I hurt my shoulder a while back after rock-climbing and have tried nearly everything to get some pain relief (TENS, medication, PT, you name it). I have had deep tissue before and let me just say, this was the best massage I have EVER had. Shawna not only did a therapeutic deep tissue of my trouble areas but did it in a way that was also super relaxing. The massage room was one of the best I've experienced as well, from the relaxing music, use of essential oils to treat anxiety, muscle tension or whatever it is that is bothering you. I can say that I could barely make it out to my car afterwards because I wasn't focused on my shoulder pain at all and was the most relaxed I think I've ever been after a massage, both physically and mentally. This girl works wonders. Just tell her what is wrong with you and I have no doubt you'll leave feeling like I did. I wish I could have stayed around for more of the awesome things that Dr. K's has to offer (facials, peels, laser hair, and all sorts of things), but maybe next time! Two weeks ago I called for information about botox and filler treatments for the face. I was told about specials they were offering and decided to go in and give it a try. The office staff was friendly and knowledgeable and made recommendations. The Dr came in and asked what I wanted to accomplish.. we discussed my needs and he injected Botox and a Juvederm filler to my cheekbones and mouth area. I saw immediate results while in the office with the Juverderm and it made a huge difference! The botox took about 10 days and I will probably get more as i have some deeper wrinkles and we went with less is more at the initial visit until we gave this a chance to settle. Overall I look and feel much better and there is noticeable difference. I did have them use numbing cream but it still hurts a bit while getting injections .. but that is typical and has been the same anywhere I ever visited over the years. I like Dr. K and his staff and decided to join as an Elite Member where the discounts for services are really deep. Very very pleased with my results. read more

I've now been to both locations, Largo, and Indian Rocks beach, and I have nothing but praise for everyone. Particularly a standout, and a must-meet if you love massage, is Jose Ramos. Trained in Miami, Jose is young, soft-spoken, polite, and staggeringly talented. I was not expecting a life-changing event this afternoon, but I feel like I've had one. Jose combines traditional deep tissue massage methods with Asian-influenced techniques. I have had similar massages in New York, under the hands of rigorously trained Chinese therapists. I have never had that experience in Largo, FL. Suffice to say, I was amazed and delighted and am still reeling from the effects of that massage. My areas of tension and tightness have been more than addressed; I feel like a new human being. Normally I visit another massage therapist, but Jose has made me seriously consider switching. I cannot describe in adequacy the techniques he uses and how he gets you to relax so you can have that deep muscle work without pain. It's an amazing experience, and I recommend him to anyone. I went to this place for over a year I spent $10,000 at this place and I was treated horribly and negligently ordered a blood test from Doctor k no one ever told me I needed to fast for it the lady at the front desk has been rude to me since the first day she met me and she never had called me back to get my results from my test and no one there cares and no one told me to even fast for the $200 blood test so I wasted that money and when I ask for a refund on the two treatments that I had scheduled out at $600 for the next 3 months and paid for I asked for it back and they ripped me off $50 do not trust this place read more

Went to office , put in way too much botox, and juverderm, put in 70 units of botox and the juverderm frankly a waste of money, Nice staff but just want your money. Oh Yea , I forgot put way too much botox in 1 eyebrow and left my other eye in limbo. Just out for you hard earned cash. I was not impressed with the treatment I received. I used a Groupon for laser hair removal on my face, and the doctor didn't even put an SPF lotion on me after he was done. I had to ask if that had any lotion with SPF 30 before I went outside. They sent me to a back room where there was some lotion, but I'm not convinced it even had sunscreen in it. It's weird I had to ask since most places preach about proper sunscreen on a normal day, so after getting a laser treatment, you'd think they'd insist on it. On top of that, there is a tip jar in the room with you. It's just tacky for a spa. read more

Their laser hair removal does not work. I purchased a Groupon and am very disappointed. I am a fantastic candidate for laser hair removal too because my skin is very pale and my hairs are very thick and dark. After 5 treatments, I should have noticed some kind of a difference, but all of my hair is still there and as thick as it was before I went to Dr. K's Med Spa. I'm sure some of their treatments probably work, but the laser hair removal was a total waste of time and money. read more
