I've allways been willing to wait that little bit longer for my appointment because I know that the doctors take whatever time necessary to satisfy the patient with their issues and I'm sure that is so beneficial to all. Words cannot express how extremely happy I am with the Owner of the centre and his other doctors and anyone would find it difficult to find a better medical centre.

I rang up the Artarmon Medical Centre in exactly this predicament yesterday. Not only did they book me in very efficiently for an appointment that morning, but they also gave me advice on applying for a Medicare card and all sorts of complicated quasi-legal stuff that I had no idea about. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was incredibly friendly, I was seen by the doctor very quickly, and everything was sorted out with the utmost precision. I hope I'm not ill again, but if I am, at least I know I'll be in the safest hands at the Artarmon Medical Centre.

I had Linda Morton as my GP in the 80s at a time when I was really struggling emotionally and…read morementally. To any trained clinician my presentation would have been clear. But she never asked questions relating to my lifestyle and presentation, in fact I felt she was quite judgemental and disapproving, which was not at all helpful. Could have saved me a lot of pain and help to avoid placing myself in dangerous situations had she taken the time to delve a little and ask a few questions. I never forgot this, it had such a huge impact on my life, not having anyone who cared enough to take an interest and have a chat.

Taking your baby to get a needle jabbed in her arm isn't the pleasant of experience as any new mum will confirm. The doctor was gentle and quick which I appreciated but wasn't as warm and welcoming as I'd have liked given it was my first visit. I felt a bit rushed and walked out not feeling compelled to go back. My community nurse recommended another doctor in the area. Dr Morton is good for those who like the old home style feel rather than a clinical polished surgery.
