You initially schedule a consultation appointment so they access the situation and give you an approximate fee. The consultation itself is 95$ which I find a bit pricey but that seems to be the base price everywhere. I was referred to Marc Shenouda and he's very nice! Super professional as well. I already had a 3D scan and a panoramic xray from my dental clinic so it was pretty easy to see the work that needed to be done (The consultation took 30 minutes max). He told me it would be one hour and I had to come with someone because I was going to be under intravenous anesthesia. Also no eating or drinking 6 hours before. I scheduled for the 28th of April at 9am. I got there with my mom at 8:50am ish and, after signing a waver and paying for everything (I like that they make you pay before so when you're done you can just leave), they took me in right away. *A small thing to keep in mind is they make you pay the whole amount and you can claim to your insurance later, they give you the forms and everything* They started by taking my pulse and giving me 3 Advil's (to reduce swelling once it was done). After that they hooked up the anesthesia and it was weird! The needle wasn't a problem but I "felt" the liquid spreading throughout my body, super weird. It didn't make me tired or dizzy, but it numbed my mouth pretty well. It went by super quickly and painlessly. A little over an hour but it was so smooth I didn't notice the time. One hurt more to remove than the other but nothing I couldn't handle. Basically, they had to break them and remove the pieces. I could sort of feel them being ripped out but I kinda enjoyed it. Once it was done I was given my prescription and all the care instructions written down and explained in person to both my mom and I. I left with my complementary ice pack and was good to go home! Highly recommend this place if you have wisdom teeth to get removed :D

I have been a very happy patient of Dr Dobby's for about 17 years. I was referred to his clinic by…read morea family friend after explaining that I had a terrible phobia of dentists. (It was so bad at the time that I avoided the dentist until it was dire, and would be anxiety ridden before, and during any session). After meeting him for an initial check up and cleaning, I was so comfortable I went ahead and some small procedures done (like changing some old fillings from silver to white), each time I felt better and more at ease with the process and my phobia disappeared. I have been a regular patient twice a year for cleanings ever since. Over time he has taken me through 2 new crowns, a few fillings, a route canal (see Dr Katz review), and whitening treatment. I have to admit that he has not had to do too much in the way of work, because the maintenance program we have is so good. His entire staff including his most valuable asset (Mary-Jane who is his receptionist) and the various hygienists I have had make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. I know this sounds crazy coming from someone who feared dentist, but knowing your taking care of your health, and that those assisting you are so sincere does just that. I have and will continue to send him new patients (I have at least 6-7 people now seeing him), so if your looking for a new dentist, give Mary Jane a call, letting her know you read Val's review, and you too can discover the joys of a peaceful dentist appointment.

He was considerate to my preferences (I asked for local anesthesia). He establishes comfortable verbal connection during the procedure (we chatted while he wasn't working on my tooth). The result is very good. My sister lives abroad, and is a dentist, so when I visited her (half year later) she confirmed, the repair was done very well. I recommend this clinic.

Worst experience with a dentist/oral surgeon I have ever had. I went for a consultation to get…read morewisdom teeth removed, and the staff were horribly unprofessional, rude, dismissive, running around stressed like they couldn't handle the THREE patients that were there to be seen. Dr Kaloyannis seemed very clearly like he hated his job more than anything and was not at all pleased to be there so I think he needs to find a new profession. The technician and the doctor were both horribly vague when talking about what they would be doing to remove my teeth. The only info they gave me was how many teeth needed to be removed and asked whether I wanted anesthesia or to be numbed. They didn't explain the procedure at all. Brushed me off when I asked about possible jaw pain as I have issues with my jaw, and did not make me feel better about it. Then on my way out, the woman at reception printed out my estimate for the surgery, and I only realized when I got home that she gave me an estimate for the removal of 4 wisdom teeth, when I only have 3. I obviously called to have it changed - she's on the phone saying: "yeah sorry I'm changing that now." Then I had to ask her for a copy by email so I'd have something to give insurance and I don't even think she was listening when I was spelling out my email. She then cut me off and said "yeah ok we're sending it, bye!" Meanwhile it's 3 days later and I still haven't received the email. Will be going elsewhere. I do not recommend.

I was recently looking for a new dentist by reading reviews and realized I had never written one. I…read morethought this might be helpful to someone else. I had been going to this clinic for years and then the practice was sold when the two previous dentists retired. I switched to Dr. Chan after having a bad experience with their other dentist (see Dr. Allidina review). Although I appreciated Dr. Chan's calm demeanor and professionalism, I was not satisfied after her cavity replacement chipped almost immediately. Although she offered to redo it free of charge, it was a large cavity, and I was worried that by drilling again, the tooth might crack. She assured me that she would only replace the part that was chipped and it was the right thing to do. However, I later learned from my new dentist that redoing even a part of the filling could have cracked the tooth. During Dr. Chan's second attempt at replacing my filling, as she was removing the metal band encircling the tooth, she sliced the corner of my upper lip. I yelped, but she did not stop. It was painful. Saying sorry is not enough while her assistant is applying pressure to stop the bleeding. Her subsequent attempt to make small talk as she led me to the front desk to pay were not appreciated. I was angry and not in the mood for chit chat. That was her second chance. No more chances. I found a new, amazing dentist and soon realized how outdated their equipment is. Felt like upgrading from a Ford Pinto (Google it) to a Mercedes Benz.
