I consider myself extremely lucky not only to have my doctor's surgery so nearby it's almost the…read moresame building as my apartment block, but this doctor's surgery. I'd travel to it. Located adjacent to the Angel Centre, a place so lovely and charitable you feel better about humanity just walking past, Trinity Medical Centre has a good vibe to it from the get-go. The staff here bend over backwards for you and make you feel safe and comfortable. An example is when I realised I'd run out of something, I called in to get my blood pressure taken for a repeat prescription and although they were mega busy, when I explained the situation and said I needed it for tonight, the receptionist said, 'Ooh, you are cutting it fine aren't you!' and managed to squeeze me in with a nurse. However this meant that the prescription was only an emergency one and some pharmacies wouldn't accept it - not only did the receptionist know of a pharmacy that probably would, she rang them up, checked, and when they confirmed she told them to expect me in about an hour. She was doing her job and then some. The nurses here are spot on. When I went for my first smear, a well-known uncomfortable experience at best, the gentle, calm lady with a terrific sense of humour talked me through every single step of it and told me what to expect. As a result, I don't fear my next one. She was both professional and reassuring. She even talked me through what would happen to my sample and how they'd analyse it, with medical knowledge and enthusiasm, a winning combo. Trinity Medical Centre exudes an aura of tranquillity. Even if you're stressed out you'll soon be put at ease. When I returned from France having been in hospital there for a knee operation, my mother was obviously somewhat frantic about getting my aftercare and physiotherapy sorted. Again, the superb receptionist (Paula) sorted it all out. We were worried about the French medical notes, she said they have translators at the hospital as 'this sort of thing happens all the time'. She rang the orthopaedic ward at Hope Hospital on our behalf and bagged us an appointment for literally the next morning (this was done the day I'd flown back from France). With the sheer amount of students that descend on Salford every year, any that need to visit a doctor regularly for prescriptions should register with this local one. I did, and I still use it to this day. Heck, even if I move I'd probably jump back up here for appointments, I trust it that much.

Once all the panicking has subsided by my Mother certainly not Dr. Capper, a calming comment of "I'll follow up on Thursday to see how we are progressing", is enough to let you know your being cared for by professionals who truly care. Thank you for attending today an excellent response to my initially morning email, I received an initial phone call from Dr. Capper who then attended early afternoon, I then received a confirmation text from Dr. Capper reporting the prescription had been sent to Pharmacykwik, a quick call to Muckram who also provides a spectacular service he assured me Mum would have her prescription later today. Now who couldn't fail to agree the team at Urban village along with the support of our Pharmacies are delivery a truly awe-inspiring service. Thank you again for supporting my Mother and I.

I felt very special, desk at 9 am and she was super busy, she also said goodbye to another gentleman. I was also greeted by Matt who was walking past, he is super impressive and always says hi for a few seconds. I love the ease of contacting via forms, I know Dr. Greenlaw was very busy today but within filling out the form, she saw me face to face at 9 30 am. I wish all the other surgeries would follow this surgery examples. I get an amazing care and treatment here.

The Docs in Manchester is one of the few GP surgeries in the city centre, located on Bloom Street…read more Due to ongoing issues with my current GP surgery, I planned to relocate hopefully to one of the surgeries in Manchester city centre, with one of them I had under consideration being The Docs. I was upset with the service: I found the staff to be rather rude, unhelpful and uncooperative which made me have second thoughts about joining the practice - which again shows not much has changed in that regard since this place was last reviewed, stunningly that was over nine years ago. The building its-self opened in the mid-1990s from the outside, you truly couldn't tell it was a doctor even though the name states so, it looks more like an old converted pub compared to everything and isn't too modern either. I find the opening hours of the practice restrictive, they do only have 3 doctors and 2 trainees which is rather small, especially for a GP surgery in a central location. They aren't open on weekends, and although this is sadly common for an NHS GP surgery, the fact they only seem to be open until 1:30 on a Thursday is pretty ridiculous. If I had to sum up The Docs, Manchester in three words I'd say lazy, unprofessional and poor from the service to the building, the website to the process of signing up new patients (it made me want to leave before I'd even signed the paperwork to sign up which I didn't do in the end), it's just a pretty ridiculous mess. 1*

The pain of the doctor, literally. Registering was a pain, the lengthy forms about who you are and…read morethe rest but also an alcohol and smoking survey which then they use to judge you on. Unfair. The Docs is a city centre doctor's surgery which I'm glad of at that. But getting an appointment here seems to be a nightmare, mainly because of the receptionist. She is not the helpful of them all considering she works at a doctor's surgery. What did we ever do to you? Me and my flatmate agree we just hate ringing up or going if we're going to get her. But well what to do. Medical staff are otherwise thorough and professional and the surgery itself seems very capable of diagnosing and curing the best of us all. There's a lot of literature and free things and advice lying around and pointing you to. Competent but slightly unfriendly.

I had a breast reduction with The Harley Medical Group in August 2021. The intial consultation was…read moregreat and the Surgeon Ranjeet Jeevan put my mind at ease and we discussed at length my reduction and what I would like my desired cup size to be, I said ideally I want a B but no bigger than a C. Within the consultation Ranjeet told me how it would all work, about the procedure and the aftercare. He also made it clear if for any reason I was not happy with the desired outcome I could have revised surgery. Comes the day of the surgery and everything went fine I went home the next day and my 3 follow up consultations in Manchester to change my dressing's were fine. After 3 months I saw Ranjeet again and we discussed my outcome, I told him I knew I might still have swelling in parts but that I thought they were still quite big and not as small as I had wanted. He said yes they could still be swelled but they would not consider revision surgery anyway until after 12 months which I accepted I needed to fully heal and let the scaring go down before anything else. In this consultation we discussed at length about what could be done to revise my size even down to liposuction which I didnt want as that would have just made my breasts sag. Anyway its 12 months on and I book my consultation in Oct 2022 to see the surgeon again, (I think they hope you wont come back). I speak to Ranjeet and he says how good they look and how pleased he is with the outcome and am I happy?, I said I am happy with the surgery but not the outcome they are not as small as I wanted like I have said twice previously. Then he says ohhh well what we do here is the Harley Medical Group review board meet once a month to discuss revisions and I have to write off to them and they will make a decision if you can have the revision surgery and we will let you know. At this point I felt like I was being fobbed off and could sense the outcome before it had come. Anyway I wait 2 months after being told they would be in touch in approx. a month and come Dec 2022 I chase for the outcome, here it is as I expected. "Hi Jane, Thank you for your email. Apologies on the delay in response. I have checked your file and following the DMG meeting they have provided an outcome. Unfortunately, the DMG have declined the revision as they believe you have a decent result. They have advised that Liposuction could be an option, however, there would be a cost associated with this. I appreciate this is not the desired outcome. Please let me know if you need anything else at this time." In other words they want more money and have gone back on everything that was said in the consultations. If only I had recorded what was said. Anyway please beware aware of this as I can see this has happened on numerous occasions looking back on reviews now, hence I wish I had read them beforehand. Dont be suckered in by the fabulous sales pitch. Also they are not the cheapest I went with them as they were recommended and in heinsight I should have done my homework. Dont bother replying Harley Group with your generic email of "get in touch you would like to help" as its just a bunch of rubbish, your not interested and you know it.

The office and surgery rooms are clean and professional, and the staff are all highly trained doctors and nurses.
