So, today it is possible for me to update this review for Dr. Hubert Mei. I had an appointment today. My right upper arm and shoulder have been bothering me along with my low back. Dr. Hubert's storefront office adjoins Harmony Natural Health (469 W. 31st St.) . His parents operate Harmony. His mom, Dr. Mei Ling is a acupuncturist and naprapath. See his dad about the various herbs and remedies at the front of the Harmony storefront. I mention Harmony, because on the days that Harmony is open, you enter that storefront to access Dr. Hubert's office. When Harmony is closed - - usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays - - you enter thru Dr. Hubert's storefront door. Today, I happened to enter thru the Harmony side and I signed in at the little stand that is to the left as you enter. The entrance to Dr. Hubert's is just a bit past the sign-in stand - -again to your left. Well, my last review still stands--this office is still 5 Stars! I was pleasantly greeted by Phyllis, who showed me to one of the rooms. Dr. Hubert came in and after assessing my situation, turned the appropriate spots on my body into a pin cushion with the acupuncture needles. About 20 minutes later, Phyllis removed the needles, attached the pads of the machine that stimulates the muscles and put some heat pads on my shoulders and back. 15 minutes later, I was ready for Dr. Hubert to put his great chiropractic skills to work. And shortly after that, I was on my merry way and feeling much better! Although it is no fun being in pain, I actually enjoy coming here. Dr. Hubert is not only a skilled acupuncturist and chiropractor but also just a really great guy. If you decide to come here, don't waste any time being anxious about meeting with a new doctor. Believe me, you will feel very comfortable with Dr. Hubert Mei. Although they were not here today, his other assistants Amelia and Vicki are also very nice and helpful. As I mentioned in my first review, you can also make an appointment with Phyllis on certain days. She is a massage therapists and has healing skills of her own to offer. Street parking is usually pretty convenient. During White Sox games, you can come in and pick up a permit if you need to park in a spot that requires one. Once again - - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Improvement was pretty immediate and ongoing during the period of weekly visits and I am still going strong. Dr. Green listens and explains in detail and is completely focused on working with you, the patient, during your visit. Sadly, this had not been my experience with other PT providers.
