I had a microdiscetomy a few years ago and MRIs at the time showed other degeneration set to only get worse over time. Once I moved to this area there was no choice but to go see Adrian! My first visit with Adrian was not comfortable - he was like a heat-seeking missile honing in on every inch of my body in pain - much more of it than I ever could have guessed. I was literally sweating so bad it was draining off my face for almost the entire session, I slept like a log that night and despite surface pain for the next few days could definitely feel a wider range of motion and looseness that my body had been lacking for years! I've continued to see him every couple of weeks and the combination of exquisite pain at the visit and freedom of movement after has me totally on board with regular maintenance. When I say pain I mean it - but this is totally manageable - you know it's going to help and that breathing through it will help - I've had so many massages and reflexology where it just felt "good" but didn't make any difference that I would choose this hands down over any of those treatments! I did ask once today if he learned his technique at Guantonomo Bay, but after being re-assured no I trust that he is just a wizard at finding and relieving your hot spots! I somehow hurt myself in a tendon area and it wasn't healing and I was kind of suffering along and my husband said, "Go see Dr. Wickman!" I have seen him before and have always felt helped but after one visit and getting me back on track the pain I was feeling is gone and I am just so happy he was there for me. So, as you are managing your pain or trying to heal from an injury, or whatever situation you are in, please consider chiropractic medicine as a possible part of the plan.
