I stumbled across this dentist through an online medical appointments reservation site (Doctolib) and was pleasantly surprised!!
Now, usually, I always go to the dentist in America (I've had bad experiences with French dentists), but seeing as my last trip to America had dated a while back, it was time to make an appointment for a dentist here in France.
I was able to get an appointment for the very next day (maybe I got lucky), all in the matter of a few clicks online! LOVE that. Didn't even have to pick up the phone.
Anywho, this dental office was clean and modern, with state of the art equipment! Seriously, I was impressed! They had a 3D digital X-ray scan machine, and took X-rays of my teeth, gave me a checkup, and performed a cleaning (as per my request). I was in and out in a jiffy! I was taken right on time with no wait, and service was quick and very efficient.
The only thing that was weird was that my doctor was a sub for the main dentist, Michele Bismuth, whom I have never met. At first, I wondered if he was maybe the hygienist or something, but nope, he was the doctor subbing for her and he told me that I wasn't the first person to ask him that question that day (seeing as when I made the appointment online, I was shown a picture of a smiling blonde woman, and that clearly was not him).
Oh, forgot to mention - this place is secteur 1 - conventionné, aka no extra fees - cheapest dental care in France and reimbursable by your health care plan. Why pay more?
Updated June 28th - not cool. Some dude came in after me and started complaining and so the dentist took him before me. read more
